Update: 3/11- Campaign has asked us to hold and mail these cards on March 24th if they haven’t been mailed already. We will be starting a new postcard campaign, in collaboration with Swing Blue Alliance. It’s a great project:
- GOTV in high significance WI judicial race
- Research-proven script to increase turnout
- Very short script to write with address labels
- We can make a real difference!
We will be writing to increase turnout in the April 4 judicial election, where we are supporting liberal Judge Janet Protasiewicz. She is a champion for abortion rights and will vote against the gerrymandering that has left Republicans in control of the legislature. She will also fight against subversion of the 2024 presidential election, as was attempted in 2020 and failed by only one Supreme Court vote! This project is aimed at prochoice WI voters at high risk not to vote (“low propensity”). Targeting this group is proven to be the most effective way to increase turnout.

This research-driven message was used successfully by Postcards to Swing States (Progressive Turnout Project), to increase turnout in the 2020 WI primaries. We know it works.
