Featured Speaker:Join us for an important conversation with Jesse Rabinowitz, Communications and Campaign Director of the National Homelessness Law Center, as he presents an overview of the 2025 Criminalization Report:“One Year Since Grants Pass: Increase in Laws that Make it a Crime to Be Homeless Sparks Increased Support for Housing, Not Handcuffs.” In collaboration with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the National Homelessness Law Center’s map tracking criminalization laws across U.S. cities can be accessed here

Jesse also will provide an overview of President Trump’s harmful executive order on homelessness issued on July 24th. The National Homelessness Law Center’s official statement on the executive order can be found here

Lastly, attendees will learn about critical advocacy tools and organizing opportunities through the Housing Not Handcuffs Campaign and about the newly proposed federal legislation, the Housing Not Handcuffs Act
