Let them know it’s Christmastime at ICE! Caroling & Yuletide readings-English & Spanish

Do they know it’s Christmastime at ICE? Let’s make sure we let them know by lifting our voices in song! Join us for Christmas Carols in English and Spanish, along with Yuletide readings, and more. In this season of giving, let us give back and bring joy, hope and support by coming together at Christmas to sing outside for those detained inside at the ICE Detention Center. This peaceful, musical witness shines a light of compassion and reminds our immigrant neighbors that they are not alone. We stand with them! Let us be Joyful and Triumphant, knowing that JOY is one of the greatest forms of resistance! We need MANY singers to come together to make our voices heard for all held inside so please join us and enjoy spreading Christmas cheer any or all 3 nights! DEC. 22-24th at 9pm.

What to BRING: YOU!! family & friends, Candles ( battery powered only) or flashlights and your favorite festive Christmas outer gear, -Santa and Reindeer hats, scarves and mittens. Dress for outdoor comfort – with layers and bring Hot Hands. No signs please for this event, just your voices, your joyful solidarity and Christmas cheer.
For PARKING, use the Burlington Mall parking lot just next door or street parking available along District Ave. Do not park in the lots closest to the ICE Facility – the FAA lot beside ICE and the BAE Systems lot directly across the street from ICE.
