MCAN Faith Leader Advocacy Day-ALL WELCOME

Massachusetts Community Action Network (MCAN) is inviting everyone with URGENCY, CLARITY AND HOPE into the next phase of our collective advocacy.
We are showing up holding two truths at once. We acknowledge that the Governor has taken action because our communities spoke out. We’re grateful for the steps she took. At the same time, we must be clear that what has been offered is not enough to fully protect our people.
On Thursday, we are showing up to ensure elected officials understand:
We will not be confused by half measures.
We will not be worn out by slow progress.
We will continue to show up and fight for our communities.
Join us from 10:00–11:00 at the Paulist Center to focus on grounding, spiritual and moral alignment, and clarity about our asks and messaging. Many new people are joining this effort, and we want to create the conditions for everyone to fully understand what we are doing and why.
At 11 am we will head to the State House to the Governor’s office as well as the office’s of other elected officials.
