Safety, Resilience, and De-Escalation Training

We keep us safe, together. As we side with love, take to the streets and show up for democracy- there will be moments of friction, big feelings, and unrest. This training will support creating a culture of resilience and safety in the political climate, explore and practice de-escalating common scenarios, and ground into community. All are welcome, from the experienced to curious.
Your trainer is Claire Karl Müller (they/them/theirs). They are the Movement Building Director at UU Mass Action. They began doing protest safety during the 2020 uprisings and never stopped. They now regularly lead marshal for Indigenous, Trans, Palestine, Housing and other social justice actions in Greater Boston. They enjoy training others to take on the role of marshal and de-escalator for our collective safety.
