Save Your Spot: Bus to Maine to flip the Senate!!
October 24 @ 9:00 am – 7:00 pm EDT
Join Swing Left on a planned day trip to knock doors with Ground Truth—our deep-listening canvassing program. We’re heading to Maine—a must-win Swing District—to knock on doors and build trust to persuade voters to support Troy Jackson. You don’t need to be a policy expert—just a good listener!
This trip is currently unconfirmed—we need to reach a threshold of 25 sign-ups by October 9 to make this bus a reality. By signing up here, you are saving your spot and helping make this trip happen.
The Mission: Deep Listening
This isn’t your standard canvass. Through Ground Truth, we are changing how Democrats talk—and more importantly listen—to voters:
- Knock More Doors: We don’t narrowly target likely Democrats. We cast a wide net and to truly understand the pulse of the community – and find people open to voting for Dems.
- Deep Listening: We have real, two-way conversations. We’re not pitching or arguing; we’re listening to voter experiences, fears, and values. Then we’re sharing a bit about our candidate to win them over once trust is already built.
- Capture Insights: You’ll be taking detailed notes on the voters you meet. These insights help us identify persuadable voters and provide campaigns with the deep intelligence they need to win.
Here is the plan:
- Sign up now and help us reach our volunteer goal: As soon as we hit 25 volunteers, we will confirm the bus, finalize the departure details, and reach out to you immediately.
- Ready to roll: Once confirmed, your bus captain will provide departure details, training, and the Ground Truth conversation guide.
What to expect:
- The Trip: The bus will leave [Launch site] on [Date and time] and return around [Return time].
- Canvassing: We’ll be knocking on doors in the district from roughly [Canvassing hours].
- Preparation: You’ll receive all training materials, location details, and support from your bus captain. You will be walking door-to-door, so comfortable shoes, a water bottle, and weather appropriate clothing like sunscreen, a hat, and an umbrella/poncho are recommended.
The conversations we have today could be the tipping point. Can we count on you to help us get this bus on the road? Sign up today!
Please note: By signing up you certify that you have read Swing Left’s waiver and fully understand its contents. You are aware that it is a release of liability and a contract and you agree to it of your own free will.
