Solidarity Lowell January Meeting
January 25 @ 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm EST
This is a hybrid meeting! In person at UCC Dracut, 10 Arlington Street, Dracut. On Zoom at: bit.ly/SL-Meeting-Jan2026
Our featured speaker is State Representative Vanna Howard, who we have endorsed for State Senate in the special election primary on February 3rd. She came to the United States at 11 years old, after surviving a communist genocide. She lost her dad, three siblings, and grandparents, and faced homelessness, hunger, and domestic violence, but this community got her through it.
She has dedicated her life to giving back. From working for Congresswoman Niki Tsongas helping constituents in Lowell, Dracut, Pepperell, Tyngsborough, and Dunstable, to serving in the District Attorney’s Office, and volunteering with more than 50 nonprofits. As State Representative, she has secured millions to combat the housing crisis, strengthen childcare, and make our community safer.
Also on the agenda:
- News and action items from Solidarity Lowell, Merrimack Valley Project, and Progressive Mass
- Positive news to celebrate from the past month
- Updates from our committees
- Important legislation and action items
- Allied organizations updates
- …and more!
We hope to see you on Sunday! RSVP here.
