In late June, the MA House and Senate passed new Joint Rules for the first time in six years.
That may sound wonky or arcane, but the rules govern who gets to participate in the legislative process and when and how. And because of activists like you, we were able to win real pro-transparency, pro-participation reforms.
But what do these new rules mean? How can we ensure that they lead to the progressive policies we want? And what other reforms are necessary?
