DESCRIPTION:Come show your support for Wilfredo at his hearing on Monday\, June 16th at 1:00 p.m. Protesters should meet outside 150 Apollo Drive\, Suite 100 in Chelmsford by 12:30. Wilfredo\, a 28 year old from El Salvador was detained by ICE in the raid on Nantucket on May 27th on his way to work. He has been living and working in the Boston area for nearly 10 years. He has extended family who are US citizens and green card holders living nearby. He is currently being held in Plymouth Correctional \n\n\n\nA core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent tactics. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

DESCRIPTION:This fall\, at the Massachusetts Democratic State Convention\, party members will vote on a new platform.In preparation\, all registered Democrats are invited to participate in virtual hearings to shape the platform. The Massachusetts Progressive Action Organizing Committee urges Dems to speak out in support of platform planks that benefit workers and working families\, including increasing the minimum wage\, preventing wage theft\, and the Corporate Fair Share Act. IMC is a member of the MPAOC. \n\n\n\nThe platform hearings are all virtual and require preregistration. Here is the schedule\, with links to sign up for each hearing: \n\n\n\n\nRSVP for June 16\n\n\n\nRSVP for June 17\n\n\n\nRSVP for June 24\n\n\n\nRSVP for June 26\n\n\n\n\nIn addition to offering verbal testimony at a hearing\, Democrats may also submit written testimony\, which will be given equal consideration.
