DESCRIPTION:On July 4\, 2025\, we call on the people of Massachusetts to embrace the true spirit of Independence Day by celebrating freedom – and spreading the “No Kings” message – on the 249th anniversary of the original “No Kings” day. \n\n\n\n\nAttend your local Independence Day celebrations. Bring an American flag. Bring a Pride flag. Wear a “No Kings” shirt. Bring your “No Kings” signs.\n\n\n\n\nMass 50501 volunteers will be in various communities spreading the message. We’ll share our handouts here for you to print and hand out at your local July 4 celebration\, too. \n\n\n\nSpeak to your friends\, family\, and coworkers about this movement at July 4 gatherings. We’ll gather on the lawn across from the Minuteman Statue and next to Buckman Tavern from 11am – 1pm. Take part in the reading\, pick up one of Lexington Alarm’s signs\, take a photo at the Minuteman Statue\, and get free flags\, stickers\, or copies of the Declaration (while supplies last). This is a festive\, family-friendly event and will include face painting for young children!
