DESCRIPTION:The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is marking its 35th anniversary on Wednesday\, July 23! Passage of this law took years of hard-fought advocacy by people with disabilities across the country. It is now hard to imagine not having this law\, which established protections for people with disabilities from discrimination in employment\, places of public accommodation\, transportation\, and other areas of life. \n\n\n\nJoin us for the ADA35 Boston March and Rally on Wednesday\, July 23. The Arc of Massachusetts is a proud partner of this event. Especially at this moment\, we must continue that legacy and grow our collective advocacy to support the ADA and other pieces of legislation at the local\, state\, and federal level. \n\n\n\nRegister in advance with The Arc to receive a limited-edition rally bandana (while supplies last) to proudly wear at the event and beyond! \n\n\n\nEvent details: \n\n\n\n\nThe event begins at noon on Wednesday\, July 23 at Boston City Hall Plaza.
