His rural district covers the southern half of New Mexico\, including all of the NM/Mexico border. Trump carried the district by 1.9% over Harris in 2024\, making Rep. Vasquez one of 13 Democrats elected in a district carried by Trump. \n\n\n\nDon Davis (NC 01)\, a former Air Force Officer\, represents 19 rural counties in North Carolina. Davis won by 1.7% in a district that went for Trump ‘24 by 51%\, making Davis another of the 13 Democrats elected in a district carried by Trump.  \n\n\n\nJared Golden (ME 02)\, a Marine Corp veteran\, represents the northern half of Maine\, the most rural district in the country. In ‘24\, he won by 0.69%—or 2\,705 votes—in a district Trump carried by 9.5%.
