We cycle together to sound the alarm of tyranny and fight for our democracy. \n\n\n\nRSVP for Updates \n\n\n\nOur next recurring last Saturday of the month Boston #Ride4Republic is Sat. Aug 30th at 10am. We bike on a combination of bike paths and roads for a total of 12.7 miles\, but you can join or end your ride at the waypoints where we network and rally. We will share snacks at the end of the ride. \n\n\n\nBring your friends\, co-workers\, family\, and neighbors to enjoy our resistance party on wheels.  \n\n\n\nPlease wear bright colors or neon. Make Pro-Democracy costume or signs for your bike frame\, basket\, shirt\, or bag. SUMMARY:Canvass to Protect the Vote in Maine
DESCRIPTION:Join Swing Blue Alliance to defeat Maine’s voter suppression referendum on the ballot this November. We will canvass primarily Democratic voters in southern Maine to make sure we turn out every supporter. This ballot question\, underwritten by national Republicans\, would limit drop boxes\, mail-in and absentee voting\, and require identification\, which does not include student or tribal IDs.  It’s likely to be a low turnout election\, so our work will be especially impactful. DESCRIPTION:This a local Indivisible event! \n\n\n\nHANDS OFF BEVERLY has been standing up against Trump & Co. policies\, executive orders\, cruelty and general lawlessness every Saturday since February 2025. \n\n\n\nThere are plenty of signs and cowbells to borrow and the music by our DJ Jim is excellent. We typically give away 10 yard signs on a first come\, first serve basis as long as you promise to display them prominently in your yard or window and send us a picture. We are all coming together because we are frustrated and angry but during our protests we are joyful and are enjoying each other’s company. The typical crowd size is between 130 and 200. He is also the author of Everyday RNA: The Future of RNA Medicines\, a textbook written to a lay audience that answers the questions “What is RNA?”\, “What does it do in our cells?”\, and “How is it being used to make medicines\, including vaccines?”. His presentation will focus on the history of vaccine technology\, beginning with the discovery that Cow Pox inoculation protects against Small Pox infection and concluding with the development of mRNA vaccines.
