She currently serves as Chief Experience Officer at Rocky Mountain Public Media in Denver\, Colorado (where she will relocate to this summer). Most recently\, she was Publisher of “The Emancipator\,” a multi-media digital publication exploring solutions to racial inequity. In 2015\, she created and launched NBCBLK\, a section of NBCNews.com dedicated to elevating conversations about Black identity\, social issues\, and culture. She spent a decade at NBC Nightly News producing breaking news and feature stories. Amber and her husband run a small production company specializing in documentary and narrative-driven branded content. We do not block the entrance\, we do not physically approach ICE agents as they walk to/from the parking lot\, and we do not block traffic on District Ave. \n\n\n\nSigns \n\n\n\nThis is a very targeted action outside the ICE facility\, so it’s not the venue for protesting other causes. Even though we care deeply about other issues\, while outside ICE we must remain focused on immigration.  \n\n\n\nParking and other tips \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor those with mobility challenges\, please keep in mind that the lots closest to ICE — the FAA lot beside ICE and the BAE Systems lot directly across the street from ICE — have both been blocked off. There are restaurants nearby (Clover\, Pressed Cafe\, Chipotle) to get food and use the bathroom.  \n\n\n\n\n\nBefore arriving\, please consider your own self-preservation (citizenship status) and self-care (sunscreen\, hydration\, etc.). \n\n\n\nIf you would like to receive updates on Justice4All Thursdays and reminders of our events\, please add your email below to join our list.
