Thank you! \n\n\n\n\n\nWeather \n\n\n\nAll attendees are ultimately responsible for making their own decisions about travel.  The organizers are going to use the following guidelines to modify or cancel events in advance.  A sudden change in conditions just before or during events\, such as a tornado warning or severe thunderstorm warning\, could happen and organizers will do their best to communicate any decisions appropriately. \n\n\n\n\n\nNo change to event:Normal to heavy RainWindy\, but no warningsLight snow on ground\, but not falling \n\n\n\nCancel:Burlington schools cancelledTemp/Wind Chill < 20FStorm advisory with snow or high wind predictedFreezing rain falling or predicted \n\n\n\n\n\nShorten event in advance\, limit to standout:Temp/Wind Chill < 30FTemp Ok\, but ground wetDeep snow in grassy area\, sidewalks clear \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat happens at this ICE office? \n\n\n\nICE personnel depart from District Ave. in unmarked vans with tinted windows on missions to abduct immigrants across New England. Immigrants may also show up at the office for appointments. The facility on District Ave was never intended to be a detention center\, yet immigration lawyers and media interviews reveal that people are now being housed here in conditions that have been called “abysmal” and “unsanitary.” \n\n\n\nWhat to expect at Justice 4 All? \n\n\n\nWe are committed to nonviolence\, and we stand peacefully with signs outside the facility. We do not block the entrance\, we do not physically approach ICE agents as they walk to/from the parking lot\, and we do not block traffic on District Ave. \n\n\n\nSigns \n\n\n\nThis is a very targeted action outside the ICE facility\, so it’s not the venue for protesting other causes. Even though we care deeply about other issues\, while outside ICE we must remain focused on immigration.  \n\n\n\nParking and other tips \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor those with mobility challenges\, please keep in mind that the lots closest to ICE — the FAA lot beside ICE and the BAE Systems lot directly across the street from ICE — have both been blocked off. There are restaurants nearby (Clover\, Pressed Cafe\, Chipotle) to get food and use the bathroom.  \n\n\n\n\n\nBefore arriving\, please consider your own self-preservation (citizenship status) and self-care (sunscreen\, hydration\, etc.). \n\n\n\nIf you would like to receive updates on Justice4All Thursdays and reminders of our events\, please add your email below to join our list. The race is rated a toss-up. Over JoAnna’s 20-years of military service in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps\, she deployed twice to Iraq\, once to Afghanistan\, and had the privilege of training the next generation of Marines as a Drill Instructor. \n\n\n\nSarah Trone Garriott (IA 03) is challenging a two-term incumbent who won by 4% in ’24. Her race is also rated a toss-up. Sarah is a minister\, a mom\, a nonprofit leader\, and an Iowa state senator who flipped two seats from red to blue\, then won a district that went to Trump in ‘24. She still preaches on the weekends. \n\n\n\nDenise Powell (NE 02) is running in an open seat in one of just three Republican-held seats won by Kamala Harris in ‘24. The district is among the most evenly divided in the nation with a slim D+0.8 margin.
