We cast a wide net and to truly understand the pulse of the community – and find people open to voting for Dems.\n\n\n\nDeep Listening: We have real\, two-way conversations. Then we’re sharing a bit about our candidate to win them over once trust is already built.\n\n\n\nCapture Insights: You’ll be taking detailed notes on the voters you meet. These insights help us identify persuadable voters and provide campaigns with the deep intelligence they need to win.\n\n\n\n\n\nReserve your spot on the bus\n\n\n\n\nWhat to expect:\n\n\n\n\nThe Trip: The bus will leave South Station at 9:00am and return around 7:00pm.\n\n\n\nCanvassing: We’ll be knocking on doors in the district from roughly 11:00-5:00pm with a break in the middle.\n\n\n\nPreparation: You’ll receive all training materials\, location details\, and support from your bus captain. You will be walking door-to-door\, so comfortable shoes\, a water bottle\, and weather appropriate clothing like sunscreen\, a hat\, and an umbrella/poncho are recommended.\n\n\n\n\nThe conversations we have today could be the tipping point. DESCRIPTION:Speechifying\, Shakespeare\, & Sea Shanties! Every week\, we stand on Burlington Mall Road with signs\, costumes and flags. We come out to show support for our immigrant neighbors\, express our shame at ICE\, and build community in opposition to the cruel and unconstitutional actions of our government. We are there to tell the world that there is a ICE CONCENTRATION CAMP just two blocks away.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are not there merely to make propaganda against ICE. We are there to make propaganda against fear. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvery car that honks in support as they pass is in a small way joining the Resistance. Many who honk may be expressing themselves against ICE terror for the first time. This breaks the ice\, and makes it easier for them to take the next steps. It helps them help others to overcome their fear. We are there to cause a ripple effect. To fight against the terror visited on immigrants\, we need to fight against our own internalized terror. We have nothing to fear. We are America\, fighting back.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you REGISTER by FRIDAY\, you will be notified of cancellations by email. All events held rain or shine & only cancel for large storms or high winds. We recommend dressing comfortably for the weather and bring a water bottle.
