DESCRIPTION:Join Swing Left on a day trip to knock doors with Ground Truth—our deep-listening canvassing program. We’re heading to Maine—a must-win Swing State—to knock on doors and build trust to persuade voters to support Troy Jackson. You don’t need to be a policy expert—just a good listener! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Mission: Deep Listening This isn’t your standard canvass. Through Ground Truth\, we are changing how Democrats talk—and more importantly listen—to voters: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKnock More Doors: We don’t narrowly target likely Democrats. We cast a wide net and to truly understand the pulse of the community – and find people open to voting for Dems. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDeep Listening: We have real\, two-way conversations. We’re not pitching or arguing; we’re listening to voter experiences\, fears\, and values. Then we’re sharing a bit about our candidate to win them over once trust is already built. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCapture Insights: You’ll be taking detailed notes on the voters you meet. These insights help us identify persuadable voters and provide campaigns with the deep intelligence they need to win. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat to expect: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Trip: For this weekend (10/11)\, Boston-based organizer Isabelle will pick up volunteers from the Medford/Somerville/Cambridge area between 9:00-10:00 am. Pickup and carpool captain details TBD following this weekend; option to carpool with friends from your own town to meet Isabelle there is always there! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCanvassing: We’ll be knocking on doors in from roughly 12:00-5:00pm with a break in the middle. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPreparation: You’ll receive all training materials\, location details\, and support from your carpool captain. You will be walking door-to-door\, so comfortable shoes\, a water bottle\, and weather appropriate clothing like sunscreen\, a hat\, and an umbrella/poncho are recommended. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe conversations we have today could be the tipping point. SUMMARY:Knock Doors in New Hampshire for the Midterms
DESCRIPTION:Join Indivisible Somerville to connect with voters in southern New Hampshire in support of the Democrats running for US Senate\, Congress\, and state office. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe’ll help coordinate carpools for those who do not have car. We’ll be going to Nashua (or another place in Southern New Hampshire)\, with the specific address to shared the week of. The day will begin with a brief training\, then head out to knock on doors and talk to voters about the issues that matter most to them.
