SUMMARY:ICE in our Backyard & Rolling Billboard Bus Tours
DESCRIPTION:Do you wonder how ICE transports detainees from New England to ICE prisons in other states?  Do you know where they fly from\, which airlines are involved\, and which corporations support the mass deportation infrastructure?  Come find out what is happening in your backyard\, who is enabling it and what you can do about it.  \n\n\n\nThis action will be a combined tour and protest.  After an informational pre-tour talk\, we will take MBTA bus #76 from Lexington to Hanscom Field and back.  On the bus\, we will hold signs in the windows calling out Signature Aviation for its role in mass deportations.  At Hanscom Field\, we will stay on the bus\, and observe the airfield and Signature Aviation’s significant presence.    \n\n\n\n\nOct 9\n\n\n\nOct 13\n\n\n\nOct 26\n\n\n\nNov  6\n\n\n\n\nThe pre-tour talk will be illustrated by photos taken by ICE flight trackers.  All participants will be encouraged to join a public pressure campaign to stop Signature Aviation from servicing ICE flights\, as well as other actions you can take to protect your neighbors in New England.  \n\n\n\nParking  \n\n\n\nParking is available in the town parking lots\, which use the paybyphone parking app (https://www.paybyphone.com)\, and in parking lots behind stores on Mass Avenue.  \n\n\n\nBring  \n\n\n\nBus Fare:  $1.70 ($.85 for seniors) or Charlie card  \n\n\n\nSigns:    \n\n\n\n\nSignature Aviation Supports Human Trafficking \n\n\n\nSignature Aviation Supports Mass Deportations \n\n\n\nSignature Aviation: Stop Servicing ICE Flights \n\n\n\nSignature Aviation: Stop Fueling ICE Aircraft \n\n\n\nSignature Aviation: Stop All Maintenance of ICE Aircraft \n\n\n\nSignature Aviation: Stop Enabling Torture \n\n\n\n\nFor more information\, contact info@signatureaviation.org

DESCRIPTION:Don’t let billionaires buy our elections. \n\n\n\nThis November\, Question 3 would replace our current primaries with a “jungle primary\,” where only the top two finishers advance to the general election\, even if both are from the same party. The measure is funded by a small group of wealthy donors\, mostly private equity executives. It would mean less choice for voters and more power for big money\, and it would shut out minority and working class candidates from the November ballot. \n\n\n\nVoters in other states rejected this same playbook in 2024. Help make sure Massachusetts does too. \n\n\n\n\nGet Zoom Link\n\n\n\n\nWhat you’ll do: \n\n\n\nJoin us on Zoom (link available upon sign up!) for a quick training\, then respond to texts from fellow Massachusetts voters who’ve replied to our outreach. You’ll answer their questions\, share why we’re voting No on 3\, and ask for their pledge. No experience needed: we’ll provide suggested responses and support the whole time.
