SUMMARY:Indivisible First Middlesex Action Hour
DESCRIPTION:The agenda will include guest speaker Lucy Lee from the LUCE Immigrant Justice Network of Massachusetts.Ms. Lee will speak about the ICE Watch and Hotline and how we can get involved to support our immigrant neighbors. LUCE is a coalition of immigrant-led\, grassroots organizations rooted in justice and equity who build people power for everyone across Massachusetts to keep all our communities safe.We will also provide updates on anti-ICE efforts such as a town hall request we made to US Rep. Lori Trahan\, a letter to Chevin Fleet Solutions co-signed with Fitchburg Indivisible\, and the national campaign to Ground Avelo.After the presentation\, we will have a postcarding and phone calling bonanza! Post card and phone call scripts will be provided for national and local candidates and legislation. All supplies and scripts will be provided. Bring your enthusiasm\, colored pencils or markers if you have them\, and your desire to create change!
