DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our Daytime Action Hour to hear from our special guest\, Scotia Hille\, who is the executive director of Act On Mass. \n\n\n\nAct on Mass is a nonprofit organization focused on transparency and accountability in the state legislature in Massachusetts. They are currently working on a few initiatives that would target the tremendous concentration of power in legislative leadership in MA\, which disempowers rank-and-file representatives\, stifles dissent\, and stalls progress. \n\n\n\nExecutive Director Scotia Hille will be joining us to talk about one of these\, a potential ballot question for 2026 to reform MA’s anomalous system of “loyalty pay\,” which allows leaders to use member salaries as a form of control.
