DESCRIPTION:New to marshaling and de-escalation? Looking to refresh your skills? This two-hour workshop will provide principles and techniques for promoting collective care and de-escalating agitated\, angry\, and aggressive individuals at nonviolent street actions. Scenarios will be drawn from the facilitators’ deep experience as lead safety team coordinators in Greater Boston. About the Facilitators Claire Karl Miller (they/them) and Rebecca Riccio (she/her) have clocked hundreds of hours as community safety leads and trainers in some of Boston’s largest racial and social justice\, democracy\, and climate change events over the past eight years. \n\n\n\n\nOct 12 Zoom Registration
