SUMMARY:Indivisible 1st Middlesex In Person Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Colin Elliott\, Central MA Organizer for the Coalition for Healthy Democracy\, will explain how the All-Party Primary Ballot Initiative would work and why his group thinks it will make our elections more competitive\, substantive\, and reflective of all voters. Join us to learn about this important ballot question. \n\n\n\nBallotpedia recently ranked Massachusetts as having the least competitive state legislative elections in the U.S. Incumbent candidates often face no primary challenger\, candidates aren’t forced to participate in substantive debate\, and new voices are rarely heard. Are Open Primaries the solution? \n\n\n\nFor more info on all of the ballot questions\, view these notes from a statewide call. \n\n\n\nOther agenda items will include: \n\n\n\nJudy’s quotes \n\n\n\nUpdates on upcoming events \n\n\n\nOpen discussion & feedback \n\n\n\nLetter writing to newly registered Pennsylvania voters
