The closer you can join to when your actual canvass is\, the better\, since we’ll be making changes and improvements each week. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhile this training is optional\, we highly recommend attending – this is a different kind of canvassing than most of us are used to\, using a brand new canvassing app. If you can’t make it to the training\, please reference the materials we send out in advance to make sure you’re up to speed before you arrive at the canvass. Your canvass lead will have time for a short on-site training before you start knocking. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRSVP for Details\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. SUMMARY:Hop on the bus from Boston to knock doors in Maine to flip the Senate!!
DESCRIPTION:Join Swing Left on a day trip to knock doors with Ground Truth—our deep-listening canvassing program. We’re heading to Lewiston\, Maine—a must-win Swing District—to knock on doors and build trust to persuade voters to support Troy Jackson. You don’t need to be a policy expert—just a good listener! \n\n\n\nThe Mission: Deep Listening\n\n\n\nThis isn’t your standard canvass. Through Ground Truth\, we are changing how Democrats talk—and more importantly listen—to voters: \n\n\n\n\nKnock More Doors: We don’t narrowly target likely Democrats. We cast a wide net and to truly understand the pulse of the community – and find people open to voting for Dems.\n\n\n\nDeep Listening: We have real\, two-way conversations. We’re not pitching or arguing; we’re listening to voter experiences\, fears\, and values. Then we’re sharing a bit about our candidate to win them over once trust is already built.\n\n\n\nCapture Insights: You’ll be taking detailed notes on the voters you meet. These insights help us identify persuadable voters and provide campaigns with the deep intelligence they need to win.\n\n\n\n\n\nReserve your spot on the bus\n\n\n\n\nWhat to expect:\n\n\n\n\nThe Trip: The bus will leave South Station at 9:00am and return around 7:00pm.\n\n\n\nCanvassing: We’ll be knocking on doors in the district from roughly 11:00-5:00pm with a break in the middle.\n\n\n\nPreparation: You’ll receive all training materials\, location details\, and support from your bus captain. You will be walking door-to-door\, so comfortable shoes\, a water bottle\, and weather appropriate clothing like sunscreen\, a hat\, and an umbrella/poncho are recommended.\n\n\n\n\nThe conversations we have today could be the tipping point. See you on the bus!

SUMMARY:Standout to SUPPORT IMMIGRANTS - No Fear Street Theater
DESCRIPTION:Speechifying\, Shakespeare\, & Sea Shanties! Every week\, we stand on Burlington Mall Road with signs\, costumes and flags. We come out to show support for our immigrant neighbors\, express our shame at ICE\, and build community in opposition to the cruel and unconstitutional actions of our government. We are there to tell the world that there is a ICE CONCENTRATION CAMP just two blocks away.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are not there merely to make propaganda against ICE. We are there to make propaganda against fear. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvery car that honks in support as they pass is in a small way joining the Resistance. Many who honk may be expressing themselves against ICE terror for the first time. This breaks the ice\, and makes it easier for them to take the next steps. It helps them help others to overcome their fear. We are there to cause a ripple effect. To fight against the terror visited on immigrants\, we need to fight against our own internalized terror. We have nothing to fear. We are America\, fighting back. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you REGISTER by FRIDAY\, you will be notified of cancellations by email. All events held rain or shine & only cancel for large storms or high winds. We recommend dressing comfortably for the weather and bring a water bottle. Bring your sign in support of Immigrants or you are most welcome to use one of the ones we have on hand.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis is a creative\, participatory protest. If you support immigrants and their constitutional rights\, join us! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nhttps://www.nofearstreettheater.com \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61584725253124\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPARKING\, PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION & other INFO: This is an outdoor event held at our standout area at the CORNER of MALL ROAD & DISTRICT AVE. The sidewalk area has a paved area and also a grassy area with trees in the background. There is some PARKING about 2 blocks away. Please NOTE: parking that is closer to the standout is private parking & reserved for staff and customers of the businesses and shopping center. ( Some cars have been towed from the private parking\, so we recommend that people chose other options.) Parking info. for the recommended parking areas will be sent to registrants. Public transportation is also available through the MBTA 350 route\, LexExpress & LRTA all of which have stops within 1 block of our standout area.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRSVP for Latest Updates\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis a local INDIVISIBLE event! A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

SUMMARY:Spotlight on LexisNexis: The Hidden Data Pipeline From Your 911 Call to ICE
DESCRIPTION:What happens to your information when you call 911? Thousands of local law enforcement agencies are sharing their records — 911 caller data\, victim information\, witness information and more — with LexisNexis\, a private data broker that sells access to federal agencies including ICE. This often happens without local officials and citizens realizing it\, even in communities with sanctuary policies. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin this De-ICE Action Network webinar to learn about this little-known data pipeline and what you can do to prevent local police departments from sharing sensitive private data with federal immigration enforcement and other agencies. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPresenter: Shawn Segal\, Public Interest Researcher at FinePrint\, an investigative outlet covering mass surveillance\, privacy and policing. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho should attend: Organizers\, advocates\, local officials and staff\, and anyone who wants to know how their community’s data may be helping fuel ICE’s cruel agenda. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration required. We hope to see you live\, but please register even if you can’t make it! All registrants will receive a recording to watch later\, along with a toolkit for taking action. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRSVP for Link\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis is a De-ICE Action Network Spotlight Series webinar. Learn more and join us to shine a light on ICE’s corporate enablers through strategic\, peaceful action at de-iceaction.org.

SUMMARY:Protect the Ballot - Ask Anything
DESCRIPTION: Thursday\, October 22\, 2026   4:00 PM ET / 1:00 PM PT  \n\n\n\n  Register HERE \n\n\n\nWe will begin with three brief updates on opportunities to strengthen election transparency and verification: \n\n\n\n–  Susan Greenhalgh of Free Speech For People will introduce FSFP’s campaign to ensure that vote totals uploaded into election results systems are checked against the totals printed on voting machines’ poll tapes. She will discuss how you can encourage your state and local officials to adopt this important verification step. [Read about the initiative here.] \n\n\n\n–  Aileen Nakamura of Scrutineers will update us on their initiative for collecting and reporting poll tapes and explain how you can participate. \n\n\n\n– Marilyn Marks will cover a bit about the predictable escalating problems in Georgia\, where the State Election Board has recklessly asked the DOJ to intervene in the election. The ballot secrecy concerns we discussed in March (!) remain unresolved even in the face of our discovery in July that AI chatbots can trace most ballot records back to the individual voter. Officials are refusing to provide Georgia voters with an ability to cast a non-traceable ballot.   \n\n\n\nThe bulk of our time will be devoted to your questions. What concerns are you seeing in your local jurisdiction? Where are you running into obstacles? What would help you decide which last-minute actions could make the greatest difference? Bring your questions about election observation\, transparency\, ballot protections\, results verification\, and other concerns arising in your community. \n\n\n\n  Please submit questions HERE. Your questions will help us prepare a discussion that is useful to the work you are doing. \n\n\n\n  Find previous Protect the Ballot recordings and reference materials HERE.   \n\n\n\nThere is still meaningful work we can do together in these final weeks and through the vote counting and verification of results. Thank you for showing up\, staying engaged\, and helping build the local oversight that trustworthy elections require. We look forward to hearing from you and supporting your efforts.
