SUMMARY:Monthly Training and Huddle-Maynard
DESCRIPTION:This a local Indivisible Maynard Area event. \n\n\n\nWe meet monthly from 6:30-8:30pm to get informed and to take action. Our next meeting is Feb 19. We will be joined by Sen Jamie Eldridge for the first part. He will share actions that can happen on the state level and ways we can help get the legislation over the finish line. The second half of our meeting will be devoted to taking action: we will primarily be packing whistles for ourselves and to distribute to our neighbors. Please bring a small donation to help cover the cost of whistles and materials especially for those who can’t come. We will also be collecting canned and dried packaged food to donate to community members in need. \n\n\n\n\nSpace is limited\, please rsvp for exact address\n\n\n\n\nSpace is limited\, so RSVP is required. All of our canvassing dates through 8/15 will be in York\, Maine\, an easy hour or so commute from Boston. \n\n\n\n\nMore Info- Carpools- Updates\n\n\n\n\nGraham Platner is our Democratic Senate candidate and will be running in one of the most competitive Senate races in the country for a must-win Senate seat. We don’t yet have our candidates for the other races\, as ranked choice voting slows the counting process. When we do\, we’ll let you know the results for the 2nd congressional district and governor’s races. We’ll be canvassing with Platner’s team\, the CD 02 congressional team\, the Maine Dems and the Coordinated Campaign. \n\n\n\nWe’ll provide training\, help with arranging carpools and possible homestays.
