In return\, he has repeatedly voted against allowing Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices. \n\n\n\nAbdul El-Sayed is running on a three-part economic message — getting money out of politics\, lowering everyday costs\, and passing Medicare for All. \n\n\n\nWe know that this primary season lifted up real disagreements within our party. We believe that retaking the Senate at this pivotal moment requires us to unite behind the candidates the voters have chosen\, whether or not we agree with them on every issue. DESCRIPTION:Speechifying\, Shakespeare\, & Sea Shanties! Every week\, we stand on Burlington Mall Road with signs\, costumes and flags. We come out to show support for our immigrant neighbors\, express our shame at ICE\, and build community in opposition to the cruel and unconstitutional actions of our government. We are there to tell the world that there is a ICE CONCENTRATION CAMP just two blocks away.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are not there merely to make propaganda against ICE. We are there to make propaganda against fear. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvery car that honks in support as they pass is in a small way joining the Resistance. Many who honk may be expressing themselves against ICE terror for the first time. This breaks the ice\, and makes it easier for them to take the next steps. It helps them help others to overcome their fear. We are there to cause a ripple effect. To fight against the terror visited on immigrants\, we need to fight against our own internalized terror. We have nothing to fear. We are America\, fighting back.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you REGISTER by FRIDAY\, you will be notified of cancellations by email. DESCRIPTION:Join March Forward Quincy and write handwritten Get Out the Vote postcards to low-propensity voters in select states. Studies show that getting a real\, handwritten note in the mail makes people much more likely to show up and cast a ballot. Our goal is for each of us to write between 10-20 postcards and mail them to states with competitive elections to motivate people to show up at the polls! SUMMARY:Patriots Standing Up for Democracy
DESCRIPTION:This a local Indivisible event! \n\n\n\nWe have our peaceful Stand Outs weekly. Every Sunday from noon to 1:30pm we line the street around our Common and hold signs that are relevant to fighting for our Democracy. We sing songs and we do chants\, we are unified in our love for our country and we know it is important for us to stand up and be seen\, be heard and be with other Patriots that care about our country. We have copies of the Constitution and flags along with signs that can be used. We welcome all to stand tall with us. We also collect food and funds for our town’s Food Pantry.
