Jonathan Cohn\, Political Director at Progressive Mass\, will be addressing the latest in state plans to protect immigrants\, especially in light of the recent Supreme Court decision that clears the way for racial profiling during immigration raids and sweeps. This would give the green light for roving patrols for snatching people off streets and questioning them based on how they look\, what language they speak\, what work they do or even where they happen to be.​​He will also inform us on ways in which the state can fund some crucial programs that have suffered large cuts in funding from the federal government.
