We will continue to peacefully exercise our first amendment rights. \n\n\n\nA weather reminder for our gatherings during the winter season — by default\, we will plan to gather\, and ask people to use their own judgment about what conditions are safe for them. Please do be safe. This runs from Alewife to Burlington Mall Rd. You can park or bike to the Alewife T stop\, and the bus leaves Alewife at 10:46am and arrives at District Ave. at 11:15am.\n\n\n\nAlternatively\, you can drive to Burlington and park at Simonds Park\, at Rev. Andrew’s United Church of Christ (6 Lexington St. Burlington\, MA)\, or at Rabbi Abramson’s Temple Shalom Emeth\, 16 Lexington St.\,and walk to the 350 bus stop at the intersection of Cambridge St. and Bedford St. That bus leaves at 11:09am and arrives at 11:17am. If you’d like to arrive before 11:00am\, there’s a bus that leaves an hour earlier at 10:09am.\n\n\n\nYou can park at Wegmans. 53 Third Avenue. Burlington\, MA 01803. Our overarching objective is to get progressive candidates into office approve progressive legislation / defeat MAGA legislation wherever possible.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAvailable postcard campaigns vary from week to week and by pick-up location. We write cards to key districts around the country to: – Provide info about voter registration and encourage people to register; – Remind people of upcoming elections and encourage voting by providing important information about when/where/how to vote; – Build name recognition for progressive candidates; – Inform people about what their MAGA elected officials are doing; – and more. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nScripts vary but often use top-of-mind issues\, like healthcare and cost of living\, to attract recipients’ attention. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRSVP for Updates\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. DESCRIPTION:This a local Indivisible Maynard Area event. \n\n\n\nWe meet monthly from 6:30-8:30pm to get informed and to take action. Our next meeting is Feb 19. We will be joined by Sen Jamie Eldridge for the first part. He will share actions that can happen on the state level and ways we can help get the legislation over the finish line. The second half of our meeting will be devoted to taking action: we will primarily be packing whistles for ourselves and to distribute to our neighbors. Please bring a small donation to help cover the cost of whistles and materials especially for those who can’t come. Our overarching objective is to get progressive candidates into office approve progressive legislation / defeat MAGA legislation wherever possible.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAvailable postcard campaigns vary from week to week and by pick-up location. We write cards to key districts around the country to: – Provide info about voter registration and encourage people to register; – Remind people of upcoming elections and encourage voting by providing important information about when/where/how to vote; – Build name recognition for progressive candidates; – Inform people about what their MAGA elected officials are doing; – and more. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nScripts vary but often use top-of-mind issues\, like healthcare and cost of living\, to attract recipients’ attention. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRSVP for Updates\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
