Our tradition teaches that whoever is able to protest the actions of their people\, and does not\, is responsible for those actions. DESCRIPTION:The owner of the Burlington ICE facility and Cafe Escadrille has not cooperated with the town to allow inspections. \n\n\n\nNeither the owner nor ICE have responded to Burlington’s request for an inspection. Sometimes there is not even enough room to lie down to sleep on the cement floors. Food if it comes is sporadic and unappealing. People are not supposed to be detained in this facility. A fancy dress protest draws attention to the lack of due process and inhumane conditions.
