DESCRIPTION:After the 2020 election\, Donald Trump contested his loss with unfounded allegations of election rigging. He used actual voting system vulnerabilities to falsely claim evidence of fraud.  \n\n\n\nIn response\, officials\, legislators\, vendors\, and leading advocacy groups – seeking to dispel the false fraud allegation and boost voter confidence – have frequently dismissed both the false allegations of fraud as well as the known election system vulnerabilities.  Consequently\, the existing election system vulnerabilities have been disregarded or poorly understood\, and the public has  been led to believe computerized voting systems are more secure than they really are.   \n\n\n\nIt’s well-known that Donald Trump is gearing up to disrupt\, subvert or corrupt the 2026 elections. We can’t afford to ignore the vulnerabilities in our voting systems\, or assume they won’t be a target for actual vote subversion or false claims of such manipulation. Especially as Trump allies have already successfully gained access to voting systems in 2021 and 2022\, made copies of the voting software\, and distributed them to MAGA supporters. The increased risks created by the stolen software have never been addressed.  \n\n\n\nIndivisible Action Coalition (formerly Indivisible Middle Tier) is organizing a series of webinars to empower Indivisible members to organize\, prepare\, and protect their local communities’ votes in 2026.  \n\n\n\n\nGet Zoom Link\n\n\n\n\nPlease join us for our introductory webinar on the threats\, the risk\, and most importantly\, what can be done to protect our votes. DESCRIPTION:On the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party (December 16\, 1773)\, we will be meeting on the Congress Street Bridge near the Boston Tea Party Museum to dump ice cubes into the Fort Point Channel in bulk. You can either buy bags of ice or make your own at home and bring them with you in a container. The goal is make as big of a splash as possible with the most easily accessible ingredients that everyone can bring. We will be protesting the actions of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E.) by dumping ice cubes into the same harbor that tea was dumped over 250 years ago. This will be a peaceful act of non-violence. \n\n\n\n\nRSVP for updates\n\n\n\n\nThis will be a mostly symbolic event. As such\, the more people who participate the better so share this link with as many people as possible (ideally 342 to represent the original crates of tea but we might not get that many signups). Ice cubes can be easily found and made at home so there’s no excuse not to bring any (if you want to participate then you will have to bring more than one tray of ice cubes from your freezer). Everyone should have a container of some kind at home that they can bring: igloo coolers\, small trash cans\, Gatorade buckets\, plastic grocery bags\, etc. Again\, we want to make a big splash so there’s more people who participate the better. If you want to get creative and freeze food dye or overpriced tea/juice from the grocery store then that’s fine but just make sure that it is biodegradable (no chemicals or popsicle sticks). \n\n\n\nA core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action.
