SUMMARY:Brookline Rally for Democracy\, July 2026
DESCRIPTION:Brookline Rally for Democracy \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvery Saturday at 1:00 PM | Coolidge Corner \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin members of three Brookline pro-democracy groups — Indivisible Activist Evenings\, Brookline Pax\, and Speak Out\, Seniors! — for our weekly rally at Coolidge Corner. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe gather to raise our voices and our signs in defense of democracy\, justice\, and decency — and to stand united against the abuses of the Trump administration and the forces that threaten our rights and freedoms. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe stand for: \n\n\n\n• Immigrant rights\, human rights\, and racial justice \n\n\n\n• Free speech\, the Constitution\, and the rule of law \n\n\n\n• Access to health and healthcare for all \n\n\n\n• Protection of our planet and the future we leave to the next generation \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe choose empathy over cruelty\, peace over violence\, and hope over fear. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur rallies are peaceful\, spirited\, and uplifting — a chance to connect\, recharge\, and stand up for what matters. Bring your friends\, your voice\, and your sign (or borrow one of ours!). \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll are welcome!  The rally is multi-generational and family-friendly; those using walkers or other mobility devices may use them to sit to participate. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn the event of inclement weather\, we’ll each use our best judgment about whether to attend. We hope you’ll do the same! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease join us\, one rally at a time.  We’ll continue for as long as it takes. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRSVP for Updates\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. SUMMARY:Standout to SUPPORT IMMIGRANTS - No Fear Street Theater
DESCRIPTION:Speechifying\, Shakespeare\, & Sea Shanties! Every week\, we stand on Burlington Mall Road with signs\, costumes and flags. We come out to show support for our immigrant neighbors\, express our shame at ICE\, and build community in opposition to the cruel and unconstitutional actions of our government. We are there to tell the world that there is a ICE CONCENTRATION CAMP just two blocks away.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are not there merely to make propaganda against ICE. We are there to make propaganda against fear. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvery car that honks in support as they pass is in a small way joining the Resistance. Many who honk may be expressing themselves against ICE terror for the first time. This breaks the ice\, and makes it easier for them to take the next steps. It helps them help others to overcome their fear. We are there to cause a ripple effect. To fight against the terror visited on immigrants\, we need to fight against our own internalized terror. We have nothing to fear. We are America\, fighting back. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you REGISTER by FRIDAY\, you will be notified of cancellations by email. All events held rain or shine & only cancel for large storms or high winds. We recommend dressing comfortably for the weather and bring a water bottle. Bring your sign in support of Immigrants or you are most welcome to use one of the ones we have on hand.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis is a creative\, participatory protest. If you support immigrants and their constitutional rights\, join us! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nhttps://www.nofearstreettheater.com \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61584725253124\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPARKING\, PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION & other INFO: This is an outdoor event held at our standout area at the CORNER of MALL ROAD & DISTRICT AVE. The sidewalk area has a paved area and also a grassy area with trees in the background. There is some PARKING about 2 blocks away. Please NOTE: parking that is closer to the standout is private parking & reserved for staff and customers of the businesses and shopping center. ( Some cars have been towed from the private parking\, so we recommend that people chose other options.) Parking info. for the recommended parking areas will be sent to registrants. Public transportation is also available through the MBTA 350 route\, LexExpress & LRTA all of which have stops within 1 block of our standout area.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRSVP for Latest Updates\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis a local INDIVISIBLE event! A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. SUMMARY:Hands Off Beverly
DESCRIPTION:This a local Indivisible event! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHANDS OFF BEVERLY has been holding weekly peaceful protests since February 17\, 2025. On Saturdays we are typically between 130 and 400 people. On the big national days of protest (NO KINGS) we are in the thousands. We have signs and cowbells to borrow\, bubbles and the best music by our tireless DJ Jim. We have a permit from the Beverly Police Department and marshals to assist people and answer questions. The best part of our protests are the people. You will have never met so many kind and wonderful folks who over the many months standing out in rain\, cold\, snow and heat have become a close knit family committed to not standing by in the face of the insanity and cruelty of the current administration. If you are peaceful you are welcome. Come and join the group with the best vibe on the North Shore! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRSVP for Updates\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. SUMMARY:De-ICE Citizens Bank Randolph\, Mass Coordinated Action
DESCRIPTION:Join Randolph Resistance and thousands of people across the country to send Citizens Bank a clear message: financing private prison and immigration detention facility operators The GEO Group and CoreCivic is bad for business. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease bring signs specific to this action: De-ICE Citizens Bank; Cages Aren’t Communities; Citizens Bank – Stop Financing ICE Prisons; Citizens Bank + ICE = Human Rights Abuse; ICE Prisons Don’t Strengthen Our Communities; Citizens Bank – Cut Ties With ICE Prisons; etc. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCitizens Bank is bankrolling the country’s two largest prison companies that are earning record profits operating dozens of ICE detention facilities. While most major banks have cut ties with CoreCivic and The GEO Group\, Citizens Bank is deepening its financial support for these companies\, which are already holding more than half of the 70\,000 immigrants currently in ICE detention centers across the country. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe bank’s capital is supporting a deplorable ICE agenda that aims to fill detention centers with more than 100\,000 people by next year. Even as it publicly touts its commitment to “strengthening our communities\,” Citizens Bank has played a key role in helping The GEO Group and CoreCivic access more than $2.5 billion in financing\, some of it approved earlier this year. This comes as the companies face a mountain of allegations\, including forced labor and wrongful deaths due to understaffing and medical neglect at their facilities. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe won’t quietly stand by as Citizens continues to finance the private prison & ICE detention companies that are harming our communities. The 2019 exodus of banks from the industry in response to activism should be a reminder to us that our voices matter. Now it’s time to use them. Visit www.de-icecitizensbank.org for more information and other actions you can take! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRemember\, we want to be in solidarity with workers including bank branch employees. Treat everyone with respect and do not harass or film employees. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA core principle behind all Coalition events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values. We expect hosts to ensure all participants in your event uphold this commitment. We recommend all participants review a safety and security resource before your event\, such as https://indivisi.org/safety. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRSVP for Updates\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. SUMMARY:Rapid Response Solidarity Standout and Vigil
DESCRIPTION:This past Tuesday\, Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was shot and killed by ICE agents in Houston\, Texas\, during a traffic stop in which they were looking for someone else\, who they say matched Lorenzo’s description. The ICE agents were not wearing body cams and the Federal Government is already spinning a narrative that we have heard before to justify past shootings. LULAC\, the oldest Hispanic civil rights organization in the US\, has launched a petition called for a fully transparent investigation and accountability for Lorenzo’s death. \n\n\n\nIt will take immense public pressure to force accountability\, but accountability is long overdue. Jonathan Ross\, who murdered Reneé Good\, is still walking free as are Alex Pretti’s killers. If we do not respond collectively\, the message we will send is clear: ICE can continue to kill people\, both on the streets and in detention facilities across the country\, with impunity. Americans will simply continue with our business\, and ICE (and our elected officials) will pay no price for their violence. Community members in Houston took the streets today\, and in consultation with organizers from Fuerza\, we decided today to organize a rapid response solidarity standout and vigil tomorrow\, Friday July 10\, from 7:30-8:30pm on Main and Moody Streets (see flyer for sharing at the end of this newsletter). \n\n\n\nWe want to make it clear that in Waltham\, we will not turn a blind eye to ICE shootings nor to ICE’s ongoing abuses in detention centers. In Waltham\, we will stand up publicly for our immigrant neighbors\, friends\, and family members; we will not be intimidated into silence\, we will continue to take up space and exercise our rights\, and we will demand justice and accountability\, as well as ICE OUT of our community. \n\n\n\nImmediately prior to this standout\, we have an existing postcard writing gathering at First Parish in Waltham\, from 5:30-7:30pm. We will have postcard packets to fill out and will also have sign making supplies in case you want to come make a sign prior the standout.

SUMMARY:Citizens Bank: Stop Financing ICE Prisons (Arlington Heights)
DESCRIPTION:Send Citizens Bank a clear message: financing private prison and immigration detention facility operators The GEO Group and CoreCivic is bad for business. \n\n\n\nHelp us take a stand at the Arlington Heights Citizens Bank branch so we can spread the word across all the branches. \n\n\n\nYour signs are welcome: De-ICE Citizens Bank; Cages Aren’t Communities; Citizens Bank – Stop Financing ICE Prisons; Citizens Bank + ICE = Human Rights Abuse; ICE Prisons Don’t Strengthen Our Communities; Citizens Bank – Cut Ties With ICE Prisons; etc. \n\n\n\nCitizens Bank is bankrolling the country’s two largest prison companies that are earning record profits operating dozens of ICE detention facilities. While most major banks have cut ties with CoreCivic and The GEO Group\, Citizens Bank is deepening its financial support for these companies\, which are already holding more than half of the 70\,000 immigrants currently in ICE detention centers across the country. \n\n\n\nThe bank’s capital is supporting a deplorable ICE agenda that aims to fill detention centers with more than 100\,000 people by next year. \n\n\n\n\nRSVP for exact address\n\n\n\n\nWe aren’t standing idly by. The 2019 exodus of banks from the private prson industry in response to activism should be a reminder to us that our voices matter. Now it’s time to use them. Visit www.de-icecitizensbank.org for more information and other actions you can take! \n\n\n\nWe are in solidarity with workers including bank branch employees. Treat everyone with respect and do not harass or film employees. \n\n\n\nThe Coalition is committed to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values. We expect hosts to ensure all participants in your event uphold this commitment. We recommend all participants review a safety and security resource before your event\, such as https://indivisi.org/safety.

SUMMARY:Justice 4 All Thursdays
DESCRIPTION:Greater Assabet Indivisible Network (GAIN) invites you to stand in solidarity with immigrants and resistance to ICE and their cruel and lawless detention of our neighbors Thursdays from 11am-1pm. Regardless of any other political views\, you are welcome to join us and demand Justice 4 All so long as you do so non-violently. \n\n\n\nOur friends at Bearing Witness have been hosting gatherings at this location for many weeks. We are an unaffiliated group\, but very much aligned with their values and mission. Our goal is to add to the total number of hours that citizens stand in non-violent opposition to the deplorable detainment conditions at this location. If you have been to Bearing Witness on Wednesdays\, we would love to have you at Justice 4 All Thursdays. \n\n\n\nSchedule \n\n\n\n11:00-11:30 Welcome; music; announcements11:30-12:30 Stand with signs along District Ave12:30-1:00 Optional short march down to Mall Rd. \n\n\n\n\nJoin the Email List\n\n\n\nRead past Substack articles\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTime to Re-Stock\n\n\n\nComfort Cart Running Low on Food Staples \n\n\n\nNow that it is a 5-day/week operation\, the Comfort Cart can run low on food quickly. Please consider bringing a bag of food or donating cash using the Venmo QR below. \n\n\n\nYour generosity is always appreciated. Thank you! \n\n\n\n\n\nWeather \n\n\n\nAll attendees are ultimately responsible for making their own decisions about travel.  The organizers are going to use the following guidelines to modify or cancel events in advance.  A sudden change in conditions just before or during events\, such as a tornado warning or severe thunderstorm warning\, could happen and organizers will do their best to communicate any decisions appropriately. \n\n\n\n\n\nNo change to event:Normal to heavy RainWindy\, but no warningsLight snow on ground\, but not falling \n\n\n\nCancel:Burlington schools cancelledTemp/Wind Chill < 20FStorm advisory with snow or high wind predictedFreezing rain falling or predicted \n\n\n\n\n\nShorten event in advance\, limit to standout:Temp/Wind Chill < 30FTemp Ok\, but ground wetDeep snow in grassy area\, sidewalks clear \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat happens at this ICE office? \n\n\n\nICE personnel depart from District Ave. in unmarked vans with tinted windows on missions to abduct immigrants across New England. Immigrants may also show up at the office for appointments. The facility on District Ave was never intended to be a detention center\, yet immigration lawyers and media interviews reveal that people are now being housed here in conditions that have been called “abysmal” and “unsanitary.” \n\n\n\nWhat to expect at Justice 4 All? \n\n\n\nWe are committed to nonviolence\, and we stand peacefully with signs outside the facility. We do not block the entrance\, we do not physically approach ICE agents as they walk to/from the parking lot\, and we do not block traffic on District Ave. \n\n\n\nSigns \n\n\n\nThis is a very targeted action outside the ICE facility\, so it’s not the venue for protesting other causes. Even though we care deeply about other issues\, while outside ICE we must remain focused on immigration.  \n\n\n\nParking and other tips \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor those with mobility challenges\, please keep in mind that the lots closest to ICE — the FAA lot beside ICE and the BAE Systems lot directly across the street from ICE — have both been blocked off. There are restaurants nearby (Clover\, Pressed Cafe\, Chipotle) to get food and use the bathroom. \n\n\n\n\n\nBefore arriving\, please consider your own self-preservation (citizenship status) and self-care (sunscreen\, hydration\, etc.). \n\n\n\nIf you would like to receive updates on Justice4All Thursdays and reminders of our events\, please add your email below to join our list. We’re excited to reinforce the work of our friends at Bearing Witness and to support our immigrant neighbors. We hope that you will join us. \n\n\n\nSee you in Burlington! \n\n\n\n~Justice4All Thursdays organizers and the Greater Assabet Indivisible Network

SUMMARY:Project World Cup Spotlight Boston Event
DESCRIPTION:We have discovered that the Moroccan fan gathering is going to be Wednesday night\, 7/8 at 8 pm in Boston Common. NBC Boston will be there. Join Our Team! Volunteer with Project World Cup Spolight in Boston! \n\n\n\n\nJoin our team and get the exact updated information!\n\n\n\n\nAs the world turns its eyes to Boston for the FIFA World Cup\, we have a massive opportunity to show them what this city stands for. We’re going to meet the global celebration with a powerful\, positive message of our own: The World is Watching\, and We Care About Our Immigrant Neighbors. On July 8th\, Project World Cup Spotlight will be holding a fun\, high-visibility action to support our immigrant communities and call for an end to ICE and the present administration’s inhumane policies. \n\n\n\nWe are adopting the brilliant giant soccer ball concept first developed by the team at our Atlanta protest. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q63d2YSrVJk \n\n\n\nImagine a giant\, eight-foot inflatable soccer ball covered in messages of hope and defiance: \n\n\n\n\nWe Love Immigrants\n\n\n\nKindness Is Always the Best Path\n\n\n\nMelt ICE Now\n\n\n\nFreedom from Fear\n\n\n\nNo One is Illegal\n\n\n\nThe logos for Project World Cup Spotlight\, Visibility Brigade\, 50501 and Global Exchange.\n\n\n\n\nWe’ll also have hundreds of smaller\, 16″ inflatable balls to hand out to the crowds\, spreading the message that “Soccer Unites\, ICE Divides.” This is where you come in. To make this happen\, we need a committed team of at least 30 volunteers (and more is always better!). You’ll help manage our giant ball\, hand out the smaller ones\, and engage with fans in a positive way that gets our urgent message seen by both the public and the media. \n\n\n\nThis will be a day of fun\, community\, and powerful action. Are you ready to be a part of it? \n\n\n\nPlease sign up on our link here to volunteer. More specific info will be sent to you the closer we get to the day. \n\n\n\nThank you for standing with us. Let’s show the world the true spirit of Boston! \n\n\n\nIn solidarity\, The Project World Cup Spotlight Team
