DESCRIPTION:This a local Indivisible Maynard Area event. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe meet the last Thursday each month from 5-6pm at the parking lot for Shaws Plaza in Stow and stretch out along Route 117 W between Red Acre Rd and the Citizens Bank. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you haven’t seen a Sign Brigade before\, we each hold a sign according to a theme that tells a story (ie- signs of good government). DESCRIPTION:Join the Boston ICE Tea Party 2.0! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe call upon all patriots to join us again on Dec 12th\, 2026 for the second Boston ICE Tea Party on the ​​250th anniversary of our nation’s founding\, to retrace the footsteps of this historic protest and declare once more – America has No Kings! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe will gather at 7:00pm at the Irish Famine Memorial Plaza\, across the Old South Meeting House. We will march to Waterfront Plaza\, by the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum. And we will dump ice into Boston Harbor\, to declare loud and clear: No Kings! No Tariffs! No ICE! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThere will be clean ice provided for dumping. Please do not bring your own ice. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor over 250 years\, Bostonians have refused to bow down to tyranny. When King George III forced soldiers into Boston’s streets\, levied unjust taxes on imported tea\, and refused to hear the people’s voices\, the colonial patriots took a stand. On December 16\, 1773\, hundreds of colonists hurled tea into Boston Harbor in protest of King George’s tyranny\, in what some call the single most important event leading up to the American Revolution. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nToday\, a President who behaves like a king occupies the White House. He has sent ICE to harass our city and kidnap our friends\, families\, and neighbors. He has levied unjust tariffs\, and made our tea\, our groceries\, and our lives more expensive.
