Worcester\, MA 01606 Friday\, October 16th\, 10:30 to 12:30 \n\n\n\nPlease join us to counter protest at 11 am\, Friday\, October 16th\, as Bishop McManus prays in the Divine Mercy Chaplet\, as part of the 40 Days for Life anti-abortion effort. SUMMARY:Brookline Rally for Democracy\, November 2026
DESCRIPTION:Join members of three Brookline pro-democracy groups — Indivisible Activist Evenings\, Brookline Pax\, and Speak Out\, Seniors! — for our weekly rally at Coolidge Corner. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe gather to raise our voices and our signs in defense of democracy\, justice\, and decency — and to stand united against the abuses of the Trump administration and the forces that threaten our rights and freedoms. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe stand for: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n• Immigrant rights\, human rights\, and racial justice \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n• Free speech\, the Constitution\, and the rule of law \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n• Access to health and healthcare for all \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n• Protection of our planet and the future we leave to the next generation \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe choose empathy over cruelty\, peace over violence\, and hope over fear. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur rallies are peaceful\, spirited\, and uplifting — a chance to connect\, recharge\, and stand up for what matters. Bring your friends\, your voice\, and your sign (or borrow one of ours!). \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll are welcome!  The rally is multi-generational and family-friendly; those using walkers or other mobility devices may use them to sit to participate. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn the event of inclement weather\, we’ll each use our best judgment about whether to attend. DESCRIPTION:Join the Boston ICE Tea Party 2.0! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe call upon all patriots to join us again on Dec 12th\, 2026 for the second Boston ICE Tea Party on the ​​250th anniversary of our nation’s founding\, to retrace the footsteps of this historic protest and declare once more – America has No Kings! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe will gather at 7:00pm at the Irish Famine Memorial Plaza\, across the Old South Meeting House. We will march to Waterfront Plaza\, by the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum. And we will dump ice into Boston Harbor\, to declare loud and clear: No Kings! No Tariffs! No ICE! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThere will be clean ice provided for dumping. Please do not bring your own ice. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor over 250 years\, Bostonians have refused to bow down to tyranny. When King George III forced soldiers into Boston’s streets\, levied unjust taxes on imported tea\, and refused to hear the people’s voices\, the colonial patriots took a stand. On December 16\, 1773\, hundreds of colonists hurled tea into Boston Harbor in protest of King George’s tyranny\, in what some call the single most important event leading up to the American Revolution. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nToday\, a President who behaves like a king occupies the White House. He has sent ICE to harass our city and kidnap our friends\, families\, and neighbors. He has levied unjust tariffs\, and made our tea\, our groceries\, and our lives more expensive.
