SUMMARY:Indivisible Maynard Monthly Meeting
DESCRIPTION:This a local Indivisible Maynard Area event! \n\n\n\nWe meet the 2nd Thursday each month at the Maynard Firehouse to get informed and to take action. We alternate between trainings\, speakers\, and more traditional huddles but try to have some kind of action involved at each. Past actions included prepping for No Kings and other standouts\, folding zines about reporting ICE\, putting together whistle kits\, signing petitions and postcard writing. \n\n\n\nAt our Sept. 10 monthly meeting we will be joined by Jonathan Cohn\, the policy director of Progressive Mass. Jonathan will share insights about the upcoming midterm election and the ballot questions. We are fortunate to have Jonathan speak with us and we can use his knowledge to educate others. Please come and bring a friend. \n\n\n\n\nSign up for updates\n\n\n\n\nWe collect canned and dry packaged food for Open Table at our meetings. Please bring something to donate if you are able. \n\n\n\nA core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
