SUMMARY:Get Out The Vote (GOTV) Postcard Writing Event
DESCRIPTION:Join March Forward Quincy and write handwritten Get Out the Vote postcards to low-propensity voters in select states. Studies show that getting a real\, handwritten note in the mail makes people much more likely to show up and cast a ballot. Our goal is for each of us to write between 10-20 postcards and mail them to states with competitive elections to motivate people to show up at the polls! We will have scripts for you to follow\, addresses\, and postcard stamps that you can use at the event. Easy action that makes a significant impact. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you can’t make the event we can also: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDrop of post cards to your porch! SUMMARY:March Forward Quincy-Indivisible June PRIDE Meeting
DESCRIPTION:We will be hosting our monthly meeting June 20 at TCPL Community meeting room on the ground floor. For PRIDE month\, we’ll be focusing on LGBTQ+ advocacy and support. Our guest speaker is from Quincy PFLAG\, an organization dedicated to supporting\, educating\, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them. We’ll also be preparing for our presence at Quincy Pride on Saturday June 27\, including a craft project and post carding opportunities.
