DESCRIPTION:This is an urgent call for community presence. We are sharing from our friends at the NAACP Cape Cod Branch.  \n\n\n\n“We are asking those who are able to attend the upcoming bail hearing regarding Alex Greene to stand in quiet\, respectful support of the District Attorney’s position to have him returned to custody until his hearing.”  \n\n\n\nThis murder happened in Hyannis\, but this appeal has been moved out of district\, as mentioned below. We are unsure if any leadership from our group can attend\, but we know there will be a representative from the NAACP Cape Cod branch in attendance.  \n\n\n\nThis case involves the most serious level of alleged violence and the loss of a life. Moments like this matter. Courtrooms do not exist in isolation — they serve the community — and it is important that the Court sees that the community is present\, attentive\, and deeply concerned about safety\, accountability\, and the integrity of the justice process. \n\n\n\nYour presence helps demonstrate that this decision carries real impact beyond the courtroom walls. \n\n\n\nThis is a show of responsible\, dignified community support for due process and public safety. \n\n\n\n\nVisit Event Site to Learn More\n\n\n\n\nThis an Indivisible event! A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action.
