SUMMARY:Mapping Your Voter Protection Plan for the Midterms
DESCRIPTION:Newton Indivisible meeting for September. The Elections Action Team will give a presentation on actions you can take to protect the vote in the November election. They will: \n\n\n\n\nreview the status of threats to and protections for free & fair elections\n\n\n\npresent concrete ways that individuals can protect voting in the midterms\n\n\n\ndescribe ways to engage with voters and the election process.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThere will be time during the meeting for participants to begin formulating a personal midterm action plan along with other attendees. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRSVP for Updates\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA core principle behind all Indivisible and coalition partner events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
