SUMMARY:Ride for Our Republic
DESCRIPTION:We Ride on Patriot’s Day Weekend! \n\n\n\nOn Saturday we meet at Paul Revere Park across from the playground in Charlestown at 10am and roughly take Paul Revere’s route to Lexington Center Patriot’s Day parade. \n\n\n\n\nRSVP for updates\n\n\n\n\nFor our first ride we will use our 2025 12.7-mile route (bike paths + roads)\, but you’re welcome to join or leave at the waypoints where we rally and connect. \n\n\n\nRoute: Boston → Davis Sq (3.9 mi) Davis Sq → Arlington Center (3.8 mi) Arlington Center → Lexington Center (5 mi) \n\n\n\n10:00am – Meet at Paul Revere Park near the playground (North Washington St.\, Charlestown) – rain or shine \n\n\n\n10:45–11:00am – 7 Hills Park\, Davis Square\, Somerville behind the T station \n\n\n\n11:30–11:45am – Uncle Sam Statue\, Arlington Center \n\n\n\nEnding Point – Lexington Center\, Minuteman Bikeway \n\n\n\nOn Monday we do a reverse trip to Boston’s Patriot’s Day Parade. \n\n\n\nRide for Our Republic is a recurring pro-democracy bike ride held on the last Saturday of each month that was held April-October 2025. In the spirit of Paul Revere and on the 250th anniversary of the first American Revolution\, we ride to sound the alarm of tyranny and fight for our democracy. \n\n\n\nFascism cannot flourish where joy and solidarity thrive. That truth is the heartbeat of Ride for Our Republic: a growing community of cyclists reclaiming Boston’s streets and bike paths as spaces of protest\, hope\, and joyful resistance. \n\n\n\nPlease follow our facebook page: www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100088170471304 \n\n\n\nOur monthly #Ride4Republic bike protests will go from April to October 2026. \n\n\n\nBring: bright colors or neon\, pro-democracy costumes or signs (bike frame\, basket\, shirt\, or bag)\, American flags\, and No Kings signs. \n\n\n\nDon’t forget water\, snacks\, packed lunch\, sunscreen\, bike lock\, and other ride supplies. \n\n\n\nYours in Solidarity and Joyful Resistance\, \n\n\n\nRide for Our Republic \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAnd if you see ICE\, CALL LUCE HOTLINE: 617-370-5023 and keep our neighbors safe!
