DESCRIPTION:This a local Indivisible event! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAt this unimaginable time in our nation’s history\, it is imperative we stay informed\, engaged\, and aligned. We see what is happening in Minneapolis and now Maine\, and wonder what may happen in our own communities. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWorcester County Indivisible Alliance (WCIA) is proud to announce a presentation by the Executive Director of Worcester’s Refugee and Immigrant Assistance Center (RIAC)\, Meg Gallo. Meg will discuss immigration in general\, and how the recent changes to our nation’s immigration policies will affect vulnerable communities around the globe\, and America as a whole.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn order to support the most vulnerable among us\, please consider bringing a non-perishable food item for our local food pantry\, or a financial donation to Worcester County Food Bank\, which provides food assistance to the most vulnerable throughout Worcester County.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCome learn the truth on February 21st while supporting our communities. Come meet our welcoming WCIA members\, ask questions to our expert presenter\, and sign our letters to our political leaders about the brutality we are all witnessing. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis isn’t America\, but Americans can make a difference.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRSVP for Updates\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
