A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
We will be peacefully protesting in our own neighborhoods with like minded patriots, so bring your signs, your flags, and your enthusiasm!

Avelo Airlines has become the first commercial airline to contract with ICE for secretive deportation flights—flights with no guarantees of due process or legal counsel. We’re organizing nationwide to make it politically and publicly impossible for them to keep profiting from human rights abuses. Our targets include the airports where Avelo operates, universities that may have ongoing partnerships with Avelo, and states and localities subsidizing them with public dollars. Whether you’re planning a protest, a teach-in, a visibility action, or a meeting with decision-makers, your event is part of a growing movement to force Avelo to cancel its ICE contract and to send a clear message to every other corporation: if you cooperate with deportation, you’ll face consequences.

Labor, together with our communities, are planning more than barbecues on Labor Day. Billionaires are converting our tax dollars into their private slush fund. On their behalf, Congress — coerced by Trump — passed the largest wealth giveaway in the history of the US. The money they take from working families goes into billionaires’ pockets as tax cuts, while much more is set aside to fund a private army of ICE agents.
We are working people rising up to stop the billionaire takeover–not just through the ballot box or the courts, but through building a bigger and stronger movement. We are growing our movement and fighting for a country that is more fair, just, equitable, and free for all of us—and not just a chosen few.
On September 1st we will continue the movement we launched together on May 1st, standing in solidarity with all our communities under attack and fighting for real wins for all our people.
In addition to the monthly in-person meeting on every 2nd Tuesday evening, Brockton Indivisible meets over Zoom on every 4th Tuesday evening. Our group is new — formed because we believe Brockton has a role to play in the fight against the fascist Trump administration. We are an active and welcoming bunch. We want to be a community for all who love and feel called to fight for democracy and progressive values. Come help us build this airplane while we are flying it!

The film has a strong nuclear weapons allegory and, for this reason, the film will be followed by a discussion surrounding nuclear weapons and related advocacy with Greater Boston Physicians for Social Responsibility and The Ikeda Center for Peace, Learning, and Dialogue.
