Worcester Indivisible is registered to march as a group in the 50th Anniversary of Pride in Worcester on September 6, 2025. All are welcome to join us. Check-in is 1:30 PM at the Femme Bar.
Serving over 25,000 LGBTQ+ community members and allies, Pride Worcester will welcome over 200 local vendors, artists, makers, and more! Check out the Pride Worcester main stage on 20 Franklin St. with a special performance by one of your favorite RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars! This is the last Pride stop of New England.
Are you interested in keeping our actions safe, organized, and impactful? Why not join us for an official Marshal Training with Worcester Indivisible? Whether you’re new to marshaling or looking for a little refresher, this session is perfect for you!
We’ll dive into:
What Non-Violent Direct Action (NVDA) is all about
The role of a marshal and why they’re essential
How to manage intersections and keep things flowing smoothly
Leapfrogging techniques for mobile protests and marches
Tips for de-escalation and staying safe
Signal App basics for secure group chats
Ensuring accessibility and inclusion on the ground
And most importantly—how to keep each other safe while standing up for justice.
This training is going to be interactive, with lots of discussion. You’ll walk away with practical tactics, scripts, and tools you can start using immediately. We’ll also cover what to do if police, counter-protesters, or emergencies pop up. No prior experience required—just bring your curiosity, questions, and a commitment to keeping our community strong. Attending doesn’t mean you’re obliged to marshal—consider it a chance to grow your skills and feel more comfortable during actions.
This is a fantastic opportunity, especially if you’ve ever thought, “I want to help, but I don’t know where to start.” Come along and see how you can make a difference!
