LGBTQIA+ Virtual Democratic Phonebank for US House Special Elections

Virtual Event

July 13, 2025 @ 4:30 pm 6:00 pm EDT

Join fellow LGBTQIA+ activists and allies to phonebank from home to recruit volunteers and to turn out special election voters for Democrats in AZ-7, TX-18, and State Legislatures nationwide: Democrats are only a few seats away from a US House majority. We are also calling for the governor races in Virginia and New Jersey. We will start with a brief Zoom meeting for training purposes and then phonebank.

This event is co-hosted by the MassDems LGBTQIA+ Subcommittee, but is open to all. Let’s take the fight to Republicans in every State and in every House district!

Virginia Listening Campaign to Rural Voters with Swing Blue Alliance

Virtual Event

July 16, 2025 @ 6:00 pm 8:00 pm EDT

Join Swing Blue Alliance, Red2Blue, and Rural GroundGame calling rural Democrats in Virginia who didn’t vote in the 2024 elections to find out what issues they care about. We’ll provide full training and support throughout the phone bank using active listening to hear what issues are important to these voters. Help find stories we can use in Virginia campaigns for 2025.

The Scale to Win dialer enables volunteers to spend their time in conversation with voters. You can phone and text through the dialer.

We invite you to join us, bring a friend, make new connections, and make a difference in communities across Virginia!

GOOD TROUBLE LIVES ON: Harvard

July 17, 2025 @ 4:30 pm 6:00 pm EDT

This administration, their sycophants in Congress, and the dark money that funds them has once again stuck it to the working and middle class, destroying the public good. Government funding for healthcare, hospitals, Medicare, weather service, science, academic institutions, public lands, food banks, public radio, clean energy, cancer research and Planned Parenthood slashed!
Why???
To give their donor class– billionaires and corporations– $5.3 trillion in tax breaks!
Funding for ICE is now larger than all of Israel’s entire military budget. And the very horrible, no good, partisan bill that just passed triples our deficit and saddles our children with an additional $3.3 trillion in debt.

Who’s with us to fight for democracy and stand up for decency in government? Please come on July 17th 4:30-6:00 to the Harvard Common to join hearts and minds in resistance to this intolerable assault on our common future. This protest joins others around the country honoring the legacy of civil rights activist and Congressman John Lewis. We plan to make Good Trouble!

Please BRING A FRIEND! Pick an issue, make a sign, raise your voice!

Please note: A core principle behind our Good Trouble Lives On actions is a commitment to nonviolence in all we do. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
