Worcester Indivisible invites you to celebrate independence YOUR way with us on the 4th of July from 12:00PM-2:00PM, at Worcester City Hall on the very spot the Declaration of Independence was first read in New England.

Whether your version of freedom and independence revolves around women’s reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ equality, ICE and immigration, Indigenous and First People rights to tribal land and sovereignty, food insecurity, housing affordability, or racial justice and equality for all, these are the fundamental principles the Declaration of Independence and the 4th of July are built on. Ignored, dismissed and unlawfully obstructed by the current Trump administration, it is to you, the people of these United States, that we must look to in order to make us whole and declare our sovereignty as a united people.

Please join us for a day of declaration, celebrating our freedom of diversity and independence from a tyrannical administration by asserting the fundamental rights granted to us by both the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution. Let us declare our truths and rights to be self evident by making our voices heard and coming together as the diverse and united community we are, can and should be. Come with your families, wear your best 4th finery or regalia celebrating your individual expressions of independence, to enjoy good food from local food trucks, inspirational speakers, music, and tables with resources!

On June 19 at 2:00 pm, Acton’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Commission invites you to our celebration of Juneteenth. We begin at the Acton Congregational Church with Author Ray Anthony Shephard, who will present a history of Juneteenth and its relevance to other fights for freedom, followed by several musical selections. Around 3:00 pm, we will walk to the Acton Women’s Club where Local Tour Guide Amy Cole will share Acton’s history about Emancipation and local abolitionists. We end our celebration with how horse culture ties into the histories of Black freedom and survival at the heart of Juneteenth.
HANDS OFF BEVERLY has held weekly peaceful protests against everything Trump since the middle of February. We believe that showing up and resisting will be of ever growing importance, and we intend to show up every Saturday. At a minimum! “WHEN INJUSTICE BECOMES LAW, RESISTANCE BECOMES DUTY!”

We’re grateful to those who have previously joined us at this facility, and we hope that more will consider attending. Together, we can show love & support for immigrants, express our shame at ICE, and bear witness to the cruel and unconstitutional actions of our government.”

The ICE building in Burlington is the detention and enforcement office for New England. Immigrants must come here for appointments. The standouts are peaceful and offer support for those who must show up here. Signs expressing support for immigrants are welcome.
Join IndivisibleLAB to protest the GOP War on Women! Last year, Indivisibles warned the public about Project 2025, holding standouts and rallies with signs saying “Abortion is just the tip of the iceberg” and “Republicans are trying to turn back the clock” with antiquated laws like the Comstock Act.
This year we are seeing the implementation of Project 2025’s regressive policies that target women. Indivisibles are sounding the alarm across Massachusetts about attacks on our rights and freedoms from voting to bodily autonomy.
Join us on the Bedford St. sidewalk next to the Women’s Monument in Lexington Center from 1-2pm to protest the GOP’s escalating attacks on reproductive healthcare, voting rights, and other issues affecting women. This standout is co-hosted by Mystic Valley Action 4 Reproductive Justice and will be one of more than 20 others across Massachusetts.
This is a peaceful, non-violent gathering. Some signs will be provided, but feel free to bring your own!

This fall, at the Massachusetts Democratic State Convention, party members will vote on a new platform.In preparation, all registered Democrats are invited to participate in virtual hearings to shape the platform. The Massachusetts Progressive Action Organizing Committee urges Dems to speak out in support of platform planks that benefit workers and working families, including increasing the minimum wage, preventing wage theft, and the Corporate Fair Share Act. IMC is a member of the MPAOC.
