Families First -Search for a Town Near You

July 26, 2025 All day

On Saturday, July 26th, American families in every corner of the country will come together in peaceful marches, rallies and events to say: our families come first, and we will protect each other.

In all 50 states and Washington DC, we will put care over the cruel cuts and attacks on families that we’re seeing from Congress and the White House. We’re committing to ensuring that every one of our friends and neighbors knows they are not alone, and hears what’s at stake for families in our country right now.

Messaging for Solidarity: Race Class Narrative

Virtual Event

July 21, 2025 @ 7:00 pm 8:30 pm EDT

The opposition regularly uses racial fear as a tool to exploit economic realities and turn people against one another. The Race Class Narrative messaging and analysis help us fight back against these attacks to build solidarity across differences. Host of the Words to Win By podcast and Principal of ASO Communications, Anat Shenker-Osorio examines why certain messages falter where others deliver. She has led research for new messaging on issues ranging from freedom to join together in union to clean energy and from immigrant rights to reforming criminal justice. Anat’s original approach through priming experiments, task-based testing and online dial surveys has led to progressive electoral and policy victories across the globe.

Anat delivers her findings packed in snark at venues such as the Congressional Progressive Caucus, Centre for Australian Progress, Irish Migrant Centre, Open Society Foundations, Ford Foundation and LUSH International. Her writing and research is profiled in the New York Times, The Atlantic, Boston Globe, Salon, The Guardian and Grist among others. She is the author of “Don’t Buy It: The Trouble with Talking Nonsense About the Economy”.

GOOD TROUBLE LIVES ON: Harvard

July 17, 2025 @ 4:30 pm 6:00 pm EDT

This administration, their sycophants in Congress, and the dark money that funds them has once again stuck it to the working and middle class, destroying the public good. Government funding for healthcare, hospitals, Medicare, weather service, science, academic institutions, public lands, food banks, public radio, clean energy, cancer research and Planned Parenthood slashed!
Why???
To give their donor class– billionaires and corporations– $5.3 trillion in tax breaks!
Funding for ICE is now larger than all of Israel’s entire military budget. And the very horrible, no good, partisan bill that just passed triples our deficit and saddles our children with an additional $3.3 trillion in debt.

Who’s with us to fight for democracy and stand up for decency in government? Please come on July 17th 4:30-6:00 to the Harvard Common to join hearts and minds in resistance to this intolerable assault on our common future. This protest joins others around the country honoring the legacy of civil rights activist and Congressman John Lewis. We plan to make Good Trouble!

Please BRING A FRIEND! Pick an issue, make a sign, raise your voice!

Please note: A core principle behind our Good Trouble Lives On actions is a commitment to nonviolence in all we do. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
