Regional Town Hall

February 22 @ 4:30 pm 7:00 pm EST

The Cape Ann Indivisible State–Federal Legislative Team invites residents of Massachusetts Congressional District 6 to this high-impact Regional Town Hall. While hosted in Gloucester, this is a truly regional forum. Invitations have been extended to State Senators and Representatives from contiguous districts across the broader Sixth Congressional District, creating a rare opportunity for constituents and lawmakers to engage face-to-face in one shared space.

At a moment of mounting budget pressure, proposals for additional tax cuts raise urgent questions about the Commonwealth’s ability to sustain essential public services. This evening is designed to surface those questions clearly and publicly—giving constituents the opportunity to be heard and legislators the opportunity to respond directly to the communities they serve.

Speakers include Jonathan Cohn, Policy Director, Progressive Massachusetts; and Crisayda Belen, Campaigns Director for Field First, and who also serves as Project Manager for Raise Up Massachusetts. They will address (1) the scope and urgency of the fiscal challenges and (2) the policy initiatives now under consideration, providing context for personal stories from district residents. Following these testimonials, speakers will pose questions to attending legislators, with time reserved for audience questions.

Key Revenue Initiatives Under Discussion

NO KINGS Massachusetts Protests

March 28 All day

FIND YOUR PROTEST HERE-MAP AND LIST. PROTESTS ADDED DAILY, CHECK THE MAP IF YOU DON’T SEE YOURS.

Send a clear message to the regime: we are not cowed.

As Trump promises to escalate his war on American cities, we’re preparing for the largest protest against the regime yet. June’s No Kings deprived Trump of his birthday parade media splash. October’s No Kings steeled American resolve against Trump’s occupation of cities and deployment of secret police terrorizing American communities. Since then, people have continued to rise up nonviolently against the Trump administration’s ongoing brutality and abuses of power, including the latest escalation in Minnesota.

IMPORTANT NOTE: A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

Dr. Jasmine Clark-GA Primary for US House

Primary is May 19th. ENDORSED BY INDIVISIBLE: GA-13: Dr. Jasmine Clark is a fighter. You may not have heard of Dr. Clark yet, but you will. A Georgia state representative with a record of defending democracy, healthcare, and public education, she’s running a grassroots campaign fueled by volunteers and her constituents.

Her opponent David Scott is asleep at the switch. Scott is a conservative Democrat in a safe blue district who hasn’t bothered to vote in any of the past seven elections. He did find the energy to team up with Angie Craig and Congressional Republicans to formally express gratitude to ICE last year, and broke with fellow Democrats to vote for additional ICE funding last month.

Early Donations are essential and giving to the candidate directly will assure that your money gets to her! The primary will be in May.

Since the 2016 election, Indivisible has been dedicated to defeating Donald Trump and his authoritarian regime. Trump rules as a wannabe king, dismantling our democracy with a league of sycophantic enablers at his side. Empowered by techno-fascists, self-dealing billionaires, and corporate cowards, this regime is killing the American experiment in democracy with death by a thousand cuts.

We need a real opposition party if we’re to have any hope of not just fighting back, but of winning. Indivisible groups have tremendous power and grassroots energy to pressure elected officials to fight back. But we don’t have time to wait, so Indivisible has launched an Endorsement Program to elect fighters who will be champions for change.

The strategy behind the Primary Endorsement Program is that it is a way to shift the Democratic Party into a fighting posture now, when we need it. We can let them know that we will not stand for the status quo. If Democrats see other status quo Dems losing to grassroots-backed challengers, they will be more likely to shift into fighting mode now.

Brad Lander-NY Primary for US House

Primary is June 23rd. ENDORSED BY INDIVISIBLE: NY-10: Brad Lander is a fighter. How can you not love Brad Lander? What a mensch. You might’ve seen him tackled by regime henchmen for daring to stand up for immigrants last year. He’s a real public servant who’s spent years delivering real gains for workers, tenants, and immigrant communities.

His opponent Dan Goldman is a wealthy corporate incumbent. He’s funded by billionaire Trumpers and joined Republicans last year to let Trump take in more crypto profiteering. Despite representing one of the safest Dem districts in the country, Goldman refused to endorse Zohran Mamdani — even after he won the primary and faced a Republican billionaire-backed Cuomo in the general election.

Early Donations are essential and giving to the candidate directly will assure that your money gets to him! The primary will likely be in June.

Peggy Flanagan-MN Primary for US Senate

Primary is August 11th. ENDORSED BY INDIVISIBLE: Minnesota Senate: Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan is a fighter. Elizabeth Warren, the nurses, organized labor, and grassroots groups back her for a reason — she’s got a record of delivering progress as Gov. Tim Walz’s Lt. Governor. And she’ll be the first Indigenous Senator to boot.

Her opponent Angie Craig has Chuck Schumer’s support. Craig also has the support of the crypto industry, AIPAC, and corporate donors. Last year, she voted to thank ICE for its service and helped Republicans pass the Laken Riley Act, stripping immigrants of their rights. It’s hard to yell “status quo” louder than this.

Early Donations are essential and giving to the candidate directly will assure that your money gets to her! The primary will be in August.
