Postcard Party

June 16 @ 9:00 am 11:00 am EDT

Send hand-written postcards to voters in states that will play a key role in taking back Congress and in electing leaders who will fight back against the current authoritarian regime. Postcards educate voters, urge them to register to vote, and urge them to vote for specific candidates in special elections, primaries, and the November 2026 mid-term elections. Hand-written postcards have been proven in multiple studies to boost turnout enough to swing elections. Each packet of 15 postcards has everything you need, and costs $10 to cover stamps and cards for those who can afford it.

It’s more fun to write together, but if you can’t stay, you can also stop by and pick up postcards to write at home.

Force Multiplier: Let’s Build Democratic Power in the Senate

Virtual Event

June 16 @ 7:00 pm 8:00 pm EDT

We need four seats to regain a majority, and three to force a power sharing agreement. The Force Multiplier Senate slate focuses on eight races we believe present our best opportunities.

Sen. Slotkin and Deputy Director Henry will speak about the changing political landscape, and how Democrats can build a majority in the Senate.

This event supports Democratic candidates in nine key races. Three are running for seats we need to defend, and six are running for seats currently held by Republicans.

Candidates:

Sherrod Brown (Ohio) is a former three term Senator and seven term Congressman. He is running for the seat held by Jon Husted, who was appointed to fill the seat held by J.D. Vance.

Roy Cooper (North Carolina) is the two term former Governor. He is running for the open seat vacated by retiring Republican Senator Thom Tillis.

Senator Jon Ossoff (GA) is running for re-election. He won his seat in a runoff by just 1.2%. He is the only incumbent Democrat running in a state that Trump won.

Chris Pappas (NH) is a four term Congressman who is running for the open seat vacated by retiring Democratic Senator Jeanne Shaheen.

Mary Peltola (Alaska) is running for the seat held by Republican Dan Sullivan. She served as the U.S. Representative in Alaska’s At-Large congressional district from 2022-25..

Graham Platner (Maine) is a veteran and an oyster farmer who has cleared the Democratic field to run against incumbent Republican Susan Collins.

James Talarico (Texas) is a four term state legislator who is running against Attorney General Ken Paxton for the seat currently held by Sen. John Cornyn.

Josh Turek (Iowa) is a state legislator who is running for the open seat currently held by Republican Joni Ernst.

Nominee Funds:

Michigan Senate Nominee Fund

Funds will be awarded to the winner of the August 4th primary. This is an open seat currently held by Democrat Gary Peters.

Nominee Funds give us the opportunity to raise funds for competitive races before a candidate is chosen. The funds are held in escrow by Act Blue and given to the winner as soon as they are declared.

If you click on one of the donate buttons, your contribution will be allocated equally to these seven candidates.

If you wish to target your contribution to individual candidates, click on “Customize amounts” in the box above the donation buttons.

Your email will NOT be shared with any of these campaigns as a result of making a donation to this event.

By making a donation through this Act Blue page, you are also signing up for Force Multiplier’s email list. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Broadway Musical, SUFFS, Watch Party and Discussion

June 22 @ 6:30 pm 8:30 pm EDT

Did you miss the musical SUFFS when it was in Boston this past spring? Did you see it, want to see it again, and discuss it with others?

A recording of the Original Broadway cast is streaming on PBS. We will watch the first Act together, then talk about what we just saw.

Suffs is a Tony Award-winning Broadway musical that chronicles the American women’s suffrage movement. The show follows the trailblazing activists — referred to as “suffs”—who fought tirelessly for the right to vote, ultimately leading to the passage of the 19th Amendment in 1920.

Join us for this social event that you will no doubt find has parallels to today’s activism. Program is free, and pizza will be provided!

Co-hosted by IndivisibleWIN (Winchester, MA), Network for Social Justice (Winchester, MA), and Minutewomen for Democracy (Lexington, MA).

A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
