De-ICE Hanscom Friday Standouts

February 6 @ 1:30 pm 3:00 pm EST

Shoveling 1:00-1:30 – standout 1:30-3:00; Carpool From Concord Visitor Center|

Just like Bearing Witness in Burlington, we will have a shovel brigade to clear out some of the area where we usually stand. Bring a shovel.

We will need to clear some space to stand, so bring your shovels!

Although there have been a few sunny, relatively warm days, there is still little available parking – and our site remains under snow.Only 3 or 4  cars can park on Hanscom Dr. There is no available parking on Old Bedford Rd.We’ll  create a shuttle system from Concord Center – Meet at the parking lot by the  Concord visitor center (map below) at 1:00.  We currently have 4 drivers.  People who can provide rides for others can make a few trips and then park on Hanscom Drive.Or have someone drop you off at the rotary and pick you up at 3:00Bring your shovels and we will clear space for us to stand.  Wear good boots and gloves!Map of visitor’s center location

De-ICE Hanscom is a coalition organizing peaceful standouts with the goal of eliminating ICE transport flights from Hanscom Field. ICE is using these flights to swiftly move immigrants out of New England in order to hinder effective legal representation.

Coalition groups include Boston Workers Circle, Concord Indivisible, Greater Assabet Indivisible Network (GAIN), Indivisible Acton Area, Jewish Alliance for Law & Social Action (JALSA), Lexington Alarm, and Maynard Indivisible.

Sign up to get information and updates about our weekly standouts. We’ll keep you in the loop if we need to reschedule or cancel for weather or other considerations, and apprise you of our goals and progress.

Brookline Rally for Democracy, April 2026

April 4 @ 1:00 pm 2:00 pm EDT

Join members of three Brookline pro-democracy groups — indivisible Activist Evenings, Brookline Pax, and Speak Out, Seniors! — for our weekly rally at Coolidge Corner at 1:00 PM.

We gather to raise our voices and our signs in defense of democracy, justice, and decency — and to stand united against the abuses of the Trump administration and the forces that threaten our rights and freedoms.

We stand for:

• Immigrant rights, human rights, and racial justice

• Free speech, the Constitution, and the rule of law

• Access to health and healthcare for all

• Protection of our planet and the future we leave to the next generation

We choose empathy over cruelty, peace over violence, and hope over fear.

Our rallies are peaceful, spirited, and uplifting — a chance to connect, recharge, and stand up for what matters. Bring your friends, your voice, and your sign (or borrow one of ours!).

All are welcome!  The rally is multi-generational and family-friendly; those using walkers or other mobility devices may use them to sit to participate.

In the event of inclement weather, we’ll each use our best judgment about whether to attend. We hope you’ll do the same!

Please join us, one rally at a time.  We’ll continue for as long as it takes.

The War on Immigration

February 21 @ 4:00 pm 6:00 pm EST

This a local Indivisible event!

At this unimaginable time in our nation’s history, it is imperative we stay informed, engaged, and aligned. We see what is happening in Minneapolis and now Maine, and wonder what may happen in our own communities.

Worcester County Indivisible Alliance (WCIA) is proud to announce a presentation by the Executive Director of Worcester’s Refugee and Immigrant Assistance Center (RIAC), Meg Gallo. Meg will discuss immigration in general, and how the recent changes to our nation’s immigration policies will affect vulnerable communities around the globe, and America as a whole.

In order to support the most vulnerable among us, please consider bringing a non-perishable food item for our local food pantry, or a financial donation to Worcester County Food Bank, which provides food assistance to the most vulnerable throughout Worcester County.

Come learn the truth on February 21st while supporting our communities. Come meet our welcoming WCIA members, ask questions to our expert presenter, and sign our letters to our political leaders about the brutality we are all witnessing.

This isn’t America, but Americans can make a difference.

A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
