Twenty hardy volunteers will show drivers a sequence of twenty signs that show different symptoms of authoritarianism. Sign-holders will be spaced out so drivers will have a moment to think about the words on each sign before encountering the next.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

It is almost impossible to believe that, in the wake of the 5th anniversary of the January 6th, 2021 Insurrection, the Fellon/Rapist/Chronic, Habitual Liar has another year to try and destroy democracy
Join those of us who are sane, who remember the attack on our Capital Building and the attempted overturning of our Constitution to remind the MAGA Republicans that they do not leave the knowledge of their corruption behind as they try harder to destroy our democracy!
In 2026, we held 11 Overpass Standouts and multiple Street-side protests. Our work is cut out for us in 2026. We are gathering on January 6th to remember the assault on our democracy 5 years ago and now daily with ICE raids. We want MAGA to know that we are fighting back. Whatever corruption and criminal activity they commit, we are watching and will hold them accountable. Let them know”Cowards Wear Masks!”
January 6th is the first of many actions we will take to save our democracy. Please join us, no matter the weather, and remind MAGA that their actions will catch up with them. They will be punished for their rejection of the rule of law, their rejection of our Constitution, their brutalityin the name of the USA.
Democracy is stronger than greed! Let’s make a show of its strength on January 6th!
This a local Indivisible event! We are a local group of ordinary citizens (“Just Us”) coming together to preserve and nourish democracy locally and nationally. We do this by building community, protecting the rights and dignity of individuals, and taking collective nonviolent action. We want YOU to be part of “Just Us”!!! Ordinary people working together “For Justice”. Join us for our monthly meeting. Please join us at our monthly meet on January 7th.

In this 3 hour training, we’ll cover the authoritarian threat, pillars of support, stories of noncooperation in these times, and how noncooperation has been used to defeat authoritarians and fascists.
Many are looking for ways to get involved to stand up against attacks to our rights and freedoms.
As individuals, groups, and communities we can refuse to cooperate with official policies and actions nonviolently. When we take away our acquiescence at a massive scale, undemocratic actors can be stopped in their tracks.
We are a loose network of trainers teaching folks about these powerful tools of collective noncompliance and mass noncooperation based on tried and true tactics used by movements from around the world fighting against authoritarianism.
Join us as we continue to learn the basics of origami, and explore various types of birds. We will discuss using our newly learned in skills in creating origami as a protest art. You are welcome to come, relax, and join us in simply creating origami.
Or, you have the option to join us in the following action….
We hope to create as many origami birds as possible. Long considered a symbol of peace and hope, we plan to come together and deliver them to the nearest ice detention center on President’s Day, February 16, 2026.
Perhaps we’ll gather them in a garland to hang on a fence or from a tree. It won’t matter if there is one bird or an entire flock—the symbolism is the same: In these times of chaos and lack of empathy, where hatred is made acceptable, we will stand together for peace. We will stand for the love of one another. We will recognize the inherent worth of all of us, no matter from where we come. We will reaffirm that all people deserve to be treated with respect, justice, equity and compassion.

One of the goals in creating MAMA Discord server was to help bridge the generational gap we are seeing with many activist groups right now, particularly within Indivisible chapters. Toward that end, we started a Discord Workshop, in collaboration with Indivisible Acton Area chapter.
This workshop is right after the weekly zoom check-in with the national organizers for Indivisible, since it is particularly geared toward Indivisible members in MA chapters. Though of course everyone is welcome to join.
We’re going to spend the first 30min-1hr helping people to install Discord on their devices and showing them the ropes. How the servers work, what kind of tools are available, how to make posts and share things, how to mute channels and manage the chatter, and so on. We will also talk about other apps and tools people commonly use such as Signal and Slack. The next hour of the workshop will be optional and open-ended for asking questions and exploring the MAMA server.
