Hanscom ICE Standout

October 31, 2025 @ 1:30 pm 3:00 pm EDT

A peaceful standout at Hanscom Field to show our opposition to ICE’s activities, and Massport’s complicity. It is a targeted action focusing on ICE activity and Massport’s complicity.  All signs should reflect this message. 🎃 Halloween costumes and themed signs are welcomed, but optional.

Our goal is to have an ongoing presence at Hanscom, and we are in the process of organizing with a coalition of local activist groups.

The standout is at the intersection of Hanscom Dr. and Old Bedford Rd. in Lincoln, MA. Please park along Old Bedford Road or Hanscom Drive, as the parking lot we used previously is reserved for the businesses there. Please do not impede traffic.

RSVP to receive additional details and updates.

GAIN November Educational Talk and Membership Meeting

November 8, 2025 @ 3:00 pm 5:00 pm EST

Food Insecurity Talk, Membership Meeting, and More!

Dave Johnson, Manager of Farm Operations at Community Harvest Project (in Grafton and Harvard) will join Greater Assabet Indivisible Network (GAIN) to discuss food insecurity in Worcester County and beyond, including how Community Harvest helps, now in this crucial time, and always. We’re excited to welcome him and to learn more about CHP’s innovative, impactful work.

We welcome everyone to our monthly Membership meeting. Bring a friend! Other topics will include the value of our Signal App, and a discussion about our current Northborough standout. A great way to get to know GAIN better and share your ideas.

A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

NOTE: GAIN will be collecting gift cards or cash donations at this meeting (requested by food banks instead of actual food donations, to better meet the specific needs of their families) to be distributed to local organizations. We are working on which local organizations are meeting this moment and will inform membership in the next newsletter.
