Join us for a Freedom Vigil as we stand in solidarity with immigrant families and demand an end to the detention and deportation of nonviolent, law-abiding community members.
Across the country, people are gathering outside ICE facilities, local jails, courthouses, and other centers of power to shine a light on the erosion of due process and the rise of authoritarian overreach. Together, we affirm that justice, compassion, and the rule of law must apply to everyone—regardless of immigration status.
This moment matters because the government’s attacks on immigrants are not only tearing families apart—they are setting dangerous precedents that threaten the constitutional rights of all Americans. When due process is denied to one group, the foundation of democracy itself is weakened. By coming together in public, peaceful resistance, we send a clear message: our communities believe in fairness, dignity, and accountability.
This will be a peaceful, family-friendly event featuring community speakers, moments of reflection, and opportunities to take action. Please bring candles, signs, flags and your commitment to stand with those whose rights and dignity are under threat.
Across the country, immigrant communities are under attack — targeted by raids, detention, and dehumanizing policies that tear families apart. These tactics are being weaponized as part of a broader authoritarian crackdown that threatens the rights and freedoms of everyone.
Now is the time to come together, to stand shoulder to shoulder, and to say clearly:
We will not stand by as families are disappeared, rights are dismantled, and democracy itself is eroded.
The Disappeared in America Weekend of Action is a nationwide mobilization to defend our shared values of dignity, freedom, and justice for all. Together, we’ll shine a light on the human toll of detention and demand an end to corporate and government complicity in this cruelty.

Republicans shut down the federal government because they insist on taking away healthcare, jacking up health insurance premiums, and giving Trump another blank check to fuel his illegal power-grab. We’re taking action to demand Republicans end the shutdown by negotiating a bipartisan budget deal that protects healthcare and reins in Trump’s manipulation of federal funds. Democrats must continue holding the line and fighting to stop Trump’s authoritarian attacks on our healthcare, communities, and democracy!
