We do not block the entrance\, we do not physically approach ICE agents as they walk to/from the parking lot\, and we do not block traffic on District Ave. \n\n\n\nSigns \n\n\n\nThis is a very targeted action outside the ICE facility\, so it’s not the venue for protesting other causes. There are restaurants nearby (Clover\, Pressed Cafe\, Chipotle) to get food and use the bathroom. We will continue to peacefully exercise our first amendment rights. \n\n\n\nA weather reminder for our gatherings during the winter season — by default\, we will plan to gather\, and ask people to use their own judgment about what conditions are safe for them. This runs from Alewife to Burlington Mall Rd. You can park or bike to the Alewife T stop\, and the bus leaves Alewife at 10:46am and arrives at District Ave. at 11:15am.\n\n\n\nAlternatively\, you can drive to Burlington and park at Simonds Park\, at Rev. Andrew’s United Church of Christ (6 Lexington St. Burlington\, MA)\, or at Rabbi Abramson’s Temple Shalom Emeth\, 16 Lexington St.\,and walk to the 350 bus stop at the intersection of Cambridge St. and Bedford St. That bus leaves at 11:09am and arrives at 11:17am. This runs from Alewife to Burlington Mall Rd. You can park or bike to the Alewife T stop\, and the bus leaves Alewife at 10:46am and arrives at District Ave. at 11:15am.\n\n\n\nAlternatively\, you can drive to Burlington and park at Simonds Park\, at Rev. Andrew’s United Church of Christ (6 Lexington St. Burlington\, MA)\, or at Rabbi Abramson’s Temple Shalom Emeth\, 16 Lexington St.\,and walk to the 350 bus stop at the intersection of Cambridge St. and Bedford St. That bus leaves at 11:09am and arrives at 11:17am. If you’d like to arrive before 11:00am\, there’s a bus that leaves an hour earlier at 10:09am.\n\n\n\nYou can park at Wegmans. 53 Third Avenue. Burlington\, MA 01803. We do not block the entrance\, we do not physically approach ICE agents as they walk to/from the parking lot\, and we do not block traffic on District Ave. \n\n\n\nSigns \n\n\n\nThis is a very targeted action outside the ICE facility\, so it’s not the venue for protesting other causes. Even though we care deeply about other issues\, while outside ICE we must remain focused on immigration.  \n\n\n\nParking and other tips \n\n\n\nFor parking\, please use the Macy’s overflow lot (75 Burlington Mall Road\, follow signs for Macy’s\, see map). For those with mobility challenges\, please keep in mind that the lots closest to ICE — the FAA lot beside ICE and the BAE Systems lot directly across the street from ICE — have both been blocked off. There are restaurants nearby (Clover\, Pressed Cafe\, Chipotle) to get food and use the bathroom.
